..when the neighborhood kids have nothing to do and they look soo bored..school is starting to sound really good to them..{and glorious to their parents}
..When you look back and remember the cooler days..when you could sit and knit something fABuLoUs to wear..
..well, OK, maybe not for me to wear..I'd be knitting for evaahh..
but I went to Cute Overload and found these great knitted fashions right off the Paris runways..

Is this not the cutest thing ever?? Yes, it is..look at her mouth..and her teensy fingers....she totally hates the hat..thinks it make her look old(er) or old-fashioned. I think it's adorable..
But I wanted to show her how her great-grand-gerbil might have looked..in the very same outfit..
The likeness is totally uncanny..seriously.She felt better after that. Then she chopped some wood, baked bread and knitted a gerbil habitat.
Now, here's a cat that KNOWS she looks good..Oh yeah..I'm lookin' good..yeah baby, blue IS my color..
definitely has self-esteem issues. Look at that posturing..eyes sad..no wait..I think she just realized she can no longer move her arms...OK, so I'm off to bed. Sweet dreams. Didi I ever tell you I travel in my dreams? I do. Really. Sometimes I wake up so tired- what with all that running through airports, getting lost on new roads..meeting people I think I know...

August is the longest month of the year. Well ... wait. I remember when January was the longest month of the year when I lived in COLD country. Oh well... I just looked at the calendar and it's only the 19th. Two more months of this hot stuff. Yuk!
I like summer but fall is my favorite season. I love the pictures and that hat on the gerbil! Adorable!!
So was the great grand gerbil pic taken just a few months ago... they multiply soooo quickly! My brothers raised gerbils. I once pulled one of their tails off, not on purpose,,,, I screamed!!! it is their defense mechanism... Colleen, You find the best pics!!! Have a great and wonder day. Yes, summer is coming to an end and it gets to the point where I actually look forward to cooler days, warm clothes and comfort foods in the crockpot. Somehow I always manage to think of food, no matter what season. hmmmmmm could be my problem! LOL

ha ha... love the knitted wear for animals! Cute photo's. About my roof... yes, I'm excited.. ha ha... my neighbors got a new roof a few months ago, which makes mine look shabby now. Now, I get to have the newest roof on the block. LOL When you travel in your dreams, come on to NC and see my new roof!

I love dreams where I am flying, not in airplanes, but actually floating and flying through the air. Hate it though when I'm in a car, and it turns into a tricycle that I can't get to move!
