He's on his way... home...

..the horses are fed, the fence is finished, the gate is closed....he told us how much he loved us.

And we are left with the most precious memories...and the deepest ache imaginable.

He is at rest and now it's up to us to honor him by striving to be the kind of person he would like to have known..

He taught us well...

His humor was contagious and genuine..

His laughter rang in our ears and now in our hearts.

He could tell a story that would make an Irish Mother cry with laughter..

His love & respect for life and for all people is only surpased by the love and respect for his 3 amazing children, and the beautiful grandchildren who got to know their Grandpa...

He was and always will be our big brother..and we will always be known simply as..

"Larry's sisters"

Larry, when you see Mother and Daddy, tell them we are fine and we'll see them one day.  And that we love them.........

Then the party will begin...

I love you Larry and will miss you forever.

“We only part to meet again

Tho mighty boundless waves may sever

Remembrance oft shall bring thee near

And I will with thee go forever

And oft a midnight’s silent hour

When brilliant planets shall guide the ocean

Thy name shall rise to heaven’s highest star

And mingle with my soul’s devotion.”

-Edgar Allen Poe

{sent to our family today by my sister-in-law, Jerri }
I'll be away for a while..I love you all...

Colleen, you definitely have a way with words as well as expressing your conviction and love is such a mighty way. Your brother will be proud as he watches you now.

Colleen, thank you for letting us know so that we can hold you and your family in prayer. Your hearts are breaking, but your faith is strong. Larry is safely home and that is very comforting. May you and your sisters and his family feel the presence of the Lord in this grieving season. You'll be much in thought and prayer over the coming days.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your brother. Larry always knew how much his sisters loved him. I figure he has his cowboy hat on and is fixin' to go ride the horse he found up there! Up there, where there is no more pain and sorrow. Colleen, you are in my prayers tonight. Just know that your bloggy friends are thinking of ya... hugs and safe travels...
