I somehow don't remember EVER being twice as old as another adult....

I got good news at my physical..great blood pressure, great cholesterol, great reflexes, no cataracts..and, my heart is still beating!

I have an Asian doctor..very old school..always smiling..

"Goo neeews, Mrs B! Yow hawrt still beating!"

"Oh goodie. So if I wake up and it's not, should I call you?"

"Haaaw, you so funny lady! Call me if hawt stop beating! Soo funny..!"

This is the same Dr. that told me I needed a vacation "to Jassson Hooooooooo.." (Jackson Hole)

And, he's good. Until he said I wasn't too bad for my age...Wha??

Oh yeah, another reminder..I am now officially TWICE the age of my Daughter-in-Law, Rachael.

Yep, she had a birthday yesterday ( the 15th..is that the Ides of September??)...but like most parents (even in-law-parents), when their kids have mid-week birthdays..we celebrated Saturday :-)

BBQ at Famous Dave's..then to out in the back yard for cake and presents.

Jenny & Brooks came over..and the boys....

The pups were there, too..hoping someone would phu-leeze drop some cake...
We think though, that Rachael need to express herself more...
It was a great, late summer night with good friends and good fun...and we'll be ...make that I'll be expecting home made sushi (?) sometime...not so much for Mr. B..his look is priceless...
Huh...really, when you think about it, when she was born, I was 30 times older than she...

...now, I'm just 2 times older....

If we keep this up, pretty soon, we'll be the same age!

So, just one more bit of Good News from the Good News Network..

Thanks for stopping over.

Let's see now....... My grandson in the picture is 18 and his sister is 15. Their older sister graduated from college last year
so she's 22..... that's about right ?

Two boys in Tx almost 15 and they youngest is 12.
Whew! Someone is always having a birthday, so it's hard to keep track of their ages.
Thanks for asking.

What a great post! Congrats on the physical, and to getting better with each day.
Your doctor reminds me of our old doctor, Ken went for a pysical and found he had high cholesteral. Dr. was explaining to him the importance of a low fat low cholesteral diet, and Ken asked "What about nuts? Our foreign dr. said " Cholesteral can effect their performance also." To which I replied, "Peanuts Dr. Hussain, peanuts!"
