The non-laborious Labor Day...

..how about you? Do anything fun?

Here's my quote for today:

I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

I'm finishing up on some LONG overdue gifts..I have been so bad of follow-through these past few months..

So, if you're one of the patient and lovely bloggers that has been expecting a little something in the mail from me..it's going to be on it's little way.... tomorrow...

And..because I was so lax, I failed to thank those who have been so generous to me..

So, thank you Lori of Altered Glass http://alteredglass.blogspot.com for the lovely handmade (!!) wind chime - it's so beautiful, copper and a fall colored marbled-like glass piece of art.

The sound it makes is a gentle "tinkleing"..and the copper is beautiful! Can you imagine the patina it will take on?? :-)

And thank you,Blanca of Magic Moonlight Studios http://magicmoonlightstudio.blogspot.com for the darling tags! Each one was lovingly made then wrapped in a clear sleeve to protect it..and to think I was just "chosen" to win this! Amazing! She dips these in a wonderful smell- cinnamon and coffee come to mind - but the smell is soooo wonderful! Thank you very much! I love them {don't want to part with a one..but I want everyone to enjoy them!!)

Here's a few photos from my thrift shop shopping this week-end..

This little sewing thingy is old, chipped and darling..

Cup & plate..don't know if they're old and really don't care..I just liked them :-)

I think this may just be the original "slap-chop" {like the irritating infomercial?}

Look at this cup...first thing..it's HUGE..

It may well hold 2 1/2 cups of stuff..now look at the backside...

Everything is backwards..even the wording! Love it :-)

Well, another nice thing about 3-day week-ends..only 4 more days until it's Saturday all over again ..

Next time I come to Utah I'm going to follow you around to yard sales and thrift shops. You find the neatest stuff.

I so glad you like the wind chimes. That color of glass is one of my favs. Thanks for the shout out! and yes, the patina that will eventually cover the copper will really add to the piece. So go hang that puppie outside and let the surroundings of Utah change it!!!

Your gifts are lovely and the gifts you give will be, too. I'm very curious about all this.

That little sewing organizer thing looks so cute and practical. I know that you'll put it to good use.

Love a gal who can think positive about anything and everything. Here's looking forward to Friday evening on your behalf!
