...you know, the whole "good news network" thing...and having to hear 'challenging' news about people you care about...
Got this in my email this morning..yes, I do get personalized messages from the Universe..don't you?
Without challenge, Colleen, adventure is impossible.
Tally ho,
The Universe
The Universe
"Hmm"..says me.."challenge....good word...tough concept."
It's sometimes a challenge to stay the course in my healthy eating. But, it is what's best. So I do try. The adventure?
Maybe trying new foods and making fun discoveries (Greek yogurt, Y.U.M.-O.)
{Proceed with caution. Resistance is futile. Greek yogurt will claim your heart}
It's sometimes a challenge to remain optimistic in a pessimistic world..But, it is what's best. So I do try. Can there be adventure there?
Yes. Finding support and friendship, looking to uplifting quotes, stories and images. Writing out one's feelings, and knowing you are not alone...
And it's definitely a challenge to get to work on time in the beautiful fall mornings...and I know it's what's best...but oh, the challenge...to remain just a wee bit longer in the cool morning air..
...to appreciate the quiet of the neighborhood..
...to smell the cool, fresh air and to have nothing but time...
Oh crap....Sorry, I gotta get to work...
Have a fantastic day and think about what challenges you, or your loved ones may be facing...and what adventures they may bring..
Tally Ho!

Darla♥
You are always the charmer with your cute picture posts.
I loved this post, but I really liked your puppies smile!
It is good to linger on the way to work...then work your heart out (since yours in such good shape!).
My girls still talk about the time when we were floating on tubes down the river and suddenly we heard thunder. We were half-way between where we got in (up by the house) and where we could get out (just before the waterfall), and I thought, we'd better go back to the house. Which meant swimming upstream with two six-year-olds. So I said, "Girls, we're having a real adventure here. Kick hard!" We kicked and giggled and pulled hard toward home -- and got there before being struck by lightning. But now they are onto me. If I mention "adventure," they think...uh-oh.
Still, it works to get us where we need to go!
Well said Colleen, everyone is battlling something. Some days are more challenging than others. But we just have to get through them. Love to you and yours...Pam
It looks like you may be an 'award free zone' but I hope you don't mind that I gave you one anyway :)
It's on my blog,
Darla
You're just so fun to read!
Wish I could find the time to enjoy the ride to work but it's still dark!
Great pics too (O:
Someday.....
But the beak is MIA! lol...where's the beak???
I really enjoy your blog. Have a great weekend.
I love Greek Yoghurt and all your pics to illustrate another funny post. I don't know how you find time for blogging and all your hobbies as well as go to work. Your life must be challenging because you are on one continual adventure. Our challenge is to stay healthy enough to travel and have adventures. BB was chuffed to get your comment on his video blog.
I forgot to mention...try Australian yogurt...it is delish too. Whats with other country's being better then ours??/ what do they do?
