"Oops. I. did . it. again. (something something something) I cut my hair - and now too short"
So, I have my Grand daughter's high school graduation in 2 weeks in Colorado.
But, I have to think and plan really hard if I have places to go where I at least want to look..uh..normal.
As as I have pointed out previously, I have 3-week hair: first week - too short, second week - pretty much OK, third week - perfect, fourth week- unmanageable and needing cut again.
Now I've got this Colorado trip in 2 weeks - and it's really only been not quite 3 weeks since my last haircut..do I wait a week or cut it now?
See, timing is everything. Right now, I am probably a week late in getting it cut to be perfect by the 22nd. , but I was kinda getting into my "OK" phase..soon to be followed by "Perfect"...but if I waited another week, it'd be too short and as it is, it will only be "OK" for graduation..
Geesh..Mr B gets his hair cut and it's just right, until it's not then he gets it cut again. And it's just right. No biggie..
My fourth child was that way. Not a "no biggie" although she was my FOURTH (natural childbirth.. again? Eh, no biggie...) and actually she was a "biggie" ..10 lbs...
But I had had false labor for several months..and it was getting dangerously close to Christmas..and now she was being stubborn and went 3 WEEKS OVER..and I had 3 others at home..waiting for Santa - so I calculated if I went in on a certain date, I could get out by Christmas Eve..(this was before you could "schedule an appointment to have a baby".)
AND they kept you for 3 days - I was also having a tubeligation . That added 2 more days..now it's up to 5 days...
So I went in late one night (less chance of a lot of Docs being there) , saying I had been having contractions (small lie) and I was feeling rather poorly (bigger lie) and could they maybe see if something (ahem) could be done?? ( giant hope )
They looked at my chart and noticed how HUGE I was and assuming the baby was equally as HUGE..told me to get some rest and they'd induce in the morning...
SCORE!
I was outta there on Christmas Eve in time to pick up a tree and do the shopping and wrapping.
So, yeah, I have this "Time Management" thing down pretty good.
Only 6, 200 more hours until retirement...
Wonder how many blogs I can read by then??

hmmmmmm.....if you could only time your haircuts as well as you time your deliveries! I know what you mean though...I have the same problem with coloring my hair. There's maybe a week when it looks perfect.....then the roots show...then I dye it and it's too bright....then it fades a bit and is perfect...then the roots show........sigh........
Not having any two-legged children, I can't believe the day you left the hospital you got a tree, presents, decorated, wrapped....good grief, Wonder Woman!
I LIKE your haircut..it ROCKS!
It always looks great to me, but I know that we gals have our opinions. Even though I wear my hair longer, I have about the same time frame that you do for liking it or not. Funny! You are so too very.
I was three week over my due date. It was 6pm, my husband wasn't home yet. I called him and told him I was bored, the doc said I could come in and be checked any time...so hubby came home, took me to the hospital and they said...you're ready to deliver, I said...no, I didn't bring anything, I just wanted to be checked (maybe pampered a bit) I had her by 8...I guess they knew what they were talking about...and I know what you are talking about the hair cutting thing! lol.
oh my word, lol. you've done it again. what a great post! i used to have the say hair issue when my hair was short. maybe you could try getting it cut now but not as short as normal so maybe it will work out by graduation...
I love it! You and your guy have infectious smiles! Blessings dear from Amy.
I have exactly the same problem with my hair but not with babies. They all came before they were supposed to and the last one only took 45 mins labour, nearly had her on the freeway.
You look so beautiful! ( Well, you always look beautiful) You face is so thin!! You look great!
