..you should've seen it in color...

..this is how Mr. B found us..a divorced half-crazy Mom of 4 crazy kids. With absolutely no visible means of support...but happy and full of spunk..

So, he asked me out on a date...

I'm not sure if he was thinking .."Holy crap..she really does have 4 kids...and one of them is taking my picture..and I don't like spunk.."

flash forward a couple of years...now we're taking photos of the whole family...and he IS smiling..

Flash forward another 25 years..and he's really smiling at our youngest son's wedding reception..

...and now he smiles all the time...and I am so glad he'll be home in a few hours.

(he just called! - he's on his way home from the airport..yay!)

Thank you God. Thank you. Forever. For my life. You should see it in color....

My dear, this may be my favorite post of yours ever. What an incredible story you have. I knew this story, but to see you tell it in your own words with the pictures to describe it was so sentimental. Mr. B is one in a million and so are you!! You deserve each other! And hubba hubba you are one hot lady! LOVED IT!

Having met you and Mr. B, I know how very happy the two of you are after all these years. He's a great guy...but, you know that. The question is, do you know how great you are? Well, I'm here to tell you that I think y'all are the perfect couple!

Hug each other for me.

It gives me such a good feeling that there are people in the world who have such a happy marriage and aren't afraid to show it.

Great post! I don't like it when Chris goes away at all. This has only happened once since we have been married but I don't even like to think about it.
