Whew...I'm as old as I have EVER been...

...and I can tell when I need to take a nap in the daytime. I am usually not a napper..nope not me..

I would sit in the recliner and snort myself awake, but, oh no, I was NOT napping...

And, uh, no it was not that cute Sandra Bullock-Miss Congeniality-cutsie-snort..

....it was more like "EWW-WE! momma-call-them -piggys-home -cause-Pappa-wants-hog-fat-with-grits" - kind of snort..

OK, so I was totally napping today..I mean - say good-night-Gracie, it's time for bed-napping-napping...

Late nights and lots of laughter can do that to someone. But isn't that the greatest of tireds?

Yeah, I think so too.

Had a great morning with the pups, then when Robert & Colette joined us, we went to Gardner Village and then to Boarders (to get Dawn- at the Feathered Nests' newest magazine!)

OK, so she didn't do the whole thing, but I think she did the most important and beautiful part in...Somerset Life !!

Even Mr. B knows her name, from reading her comments and said , "Oh yeah, yeah..I know her"
Anyway, Gardner village has this great store that I took photos of on Mother's Day, remember? The shop with the sign that says, "Don't piss off the Fairies"?

Well, of course I had to go in there again to get my fairy dust "kist" on my cheek with the little star branding-iron (just sparkly fairy dust - no hot coals required..just to be clear..)

Anyway, as karma would have it, 2 beautiful ladies were all smiles and friendliness when we walked in. Something Colette from San Diego noticed about everyone we had dealings with today - great customer service, smiling and friendly faces..

The 2 were Tara and Cricket. Tara the owner, and Cricket, who was working with her today.

When I told them how I blog and could I take just one or two teesny-tiny-little photos of their beautiful store for my blog - say "Of course you may!" And when I asked if I could take one of them, the graciously agreed...

That's Cricket on the left and Tara on the right..
The store is called Anastasia's Attic..even her business card is exquisite..Her store is filled with beauty - fairies, clothes, jewelry, home decor, lovely music, you name it..if it's beautiful and Victorian/Vintage, it's there..

Then it was off to Famous Dave's for BBQ - Hmmm, don't you wish you had smellivision?? Or, I guess it would be smelliscreen....Hey we could invent SmelliscreenSavers!! Yeah, another time..

Lunch was great, the company was fun and the waiter personable - who could ask for more...OK..so Grandma Evelyn paid, too...It's great being us..I'm just sayin'....

Here's a few shots then it's off to nod-land for moi...going to the mountains tomorrow.

Toodles..

Hey Colleen...I call them afternoon refreshers, they come around 3:00 right...but if we didn't have them we wouldn't nearly get so much accomplished...right. Remember the days when you could work all day, then work on projects till the wee hours, oh so long ago, just a fading memory now. But at our age it's time to slow a tad anyway, sorta.

Your pic's are wonderful and looks like you had a great day. Yes, I "nap" quite often... yesterday I must have been snoring, because I woke myself up in a panic over something!

I just love all the pictures; you appear to have had so much fun! Can we go there if I ever get up to see you?

I'm not a napper; but, I understand they do wonders for those who are. I think it has something to do with my being 'wired' from the moment I awaken. But, trust me, when my head hits the pillow, I'm a real goner! Love ya.
