She doesn't know she's beautiful....

but I do.

Of course I do...

I'm her Grammie.

But I can't be the only one to notice this....

Just look at her – book in hand..she doesn't go anywhere without a good book.

She's smart. Very smart. Sometimes too smart. But not a smart-alec..

And she is kind. Animals, old people, young people..

.....Horses.

Especially horses. She LOOOOOVES horses.

Since I've been working at GeneTree and learning about Mitochondrial DNA, I am even more proud that she carries my DNA as does her Mother, April and her sister Emily.

The same mtDNA from my Mother, and my Grandmother, and hers, and hers, and hers....isn't it

........amazing...

She gets her DNA from her Mom and from me, her "Grammie" ... and all of her maternal ancestors. ..here with my sister, Gerri..

All the way back in time.

All the way back to Ireland....

...Amazing.....

.....and, she doesn't know she's.........................

........................beautiful...........

This one brought tears to my eyes! She IS beautiful, apparently as beautiful on the inside as the outside. What a sweet tribute from an adoring grammie. Thanks for letting us see her. Love ya.

I just got a new grandaughter (6wks old) and so look forward to watching her become a young woman. I know she will be smart, beautiful, funny, kind and loving...she has to. It is destiny because she has me, my Mom, her mother, her other Grandma.....can't be helped....
