Even though I have the RoCKinEst hummingbird nest....

...I still managed to go do some thrifting on Saturday.

I didn't make any yard/garage/estate sales but we went to the Antique store up the street from me.

I usually veer away from these places because I know they have to make a living...but I can't justify spending what they usually need to charge because of overhead, etc.

But, we were looking for some barrels for the yard in their outside storage area, so I thought, what the heck - I'll take a lookie-loo inside.

And, guess what?

No, go ahead ...guess.........come on....

Yep, I found a way to help them pay this month's rent - or at least this month's paper towel budget...Hey, it's gotta come from somewhere, right?!

I "bequeathed" ( I LOVE that word! I hope you don't have to be dead to use it...) my white tricked out lunch box to Kathy, so I needed something equally as adorable as that for my little album-books.

So, when I saw this and thought it would be PErfEcT (!!) I hesitated to look at the price tag...

It was only $8.00 - that's less than 2 gallons of gas - or 8 Jr. Whoppers - or one Grande Latte.. somewhere...

Isn't it adorable??

..and it doesn't smell all yuckified.....

Can't wait 'till I can start working on it...

Then I found some of these...that I've been wanting for a while...

A mere $5 for the pair....thanks to Dawn @ The Feathered Nest for making these sooo desired..I finally found a pair! (she's such an enabler...LOL)

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better...I found this baggie of wooden spools. Hard to find..or maybe not..I don;t really sew but the last threads I bought were on plastic spool..and have you noticed some corks are not cork anymore? Wha sup with that?
$4.00!

OK, now hold on...doll clothes for $.50 each!!

And look at these...

Nachos and Fresca for dinner...( I just threw those in to see if you were paying attention...good, you were.)

Anyway, that's how the night ended..nachos in the front room watching multiple programs for 3.6 minuets each (Mr. B had the remote..)

Need I say more...

Have a fun Tuesday and remember, wherever you go tell them it's

"Twofer - Tuesday"

...and see if you get two of...anything..( and let us know...)

As for the 'Twofer-Tuesday', I was planning to stop by the humane society to drop off some aluminum cans; don't think I EVEN want to say that there...where in the world would I put two more little ones?? Teehee. Love ya.
