It was a good Saturday...

....slept in a little , oh that feels sooo good! It had rained so the air was cool and smelled great..

...walked the pups and enjoyed the rain-soaked green green grasses and beautiful trees - Everything seemed "just washed"

Gave Chicker & Ophelia some stale bread - they LOVE me! Now if I can get them to give me some eggs.....

.....Mr. B went and got me some much needed CoffeeMate creamer this morning - my new favorite is Cinnamon Vanilla - YUMMY!

Then picked up some McDonald's breakfast biscuits - Double YUMMY.

We drove to a couple of garden centers trying to get ideas and inspiration. Mr. B has changed his design direction.

He would like to go sort of Western-but-Chic in the back yard. Some plank-like walkways (sidewalks?) like they had in the old towns...maybe some of those farm-ranch galvanized things to act as planters..
....a sort of lean-to out building to enclose the VERY BIG air conditioner...did I mention it's

....B-I-G??

..anyway, the direction could change again, but I always trust his choices and his ability to make things beautiful for us to enjoy.

We bought this clock-thermometer-humidity-thingy to hand up on one of the outside walls. It's really cool looking - all western.. and...chic...and metal. Yippee Ki Aye, Little doggies! (is it "Ki" or "Aie"??)

The newly-weds came over bearing gifts...a great new (to me) magazine from Rachael, and some Irish coins that Brandi actually picked up for Jeff when she went to Ireland..he decided to give them to me and I didn't argue!

I love the one that's not exactly round...

Jeff helped Mr. B unload a ton of wood for the upcoming projects so we took them out to dinner.

We told stories and laughed and had good Italian food. Came home - watched a little TV - read and now here I am, saying have Sweet Dreams and a wonderful Sunday wherever you are in this big wide world!

-g'night..

Hey Colleen, It's Sunday night here & I'm just about off to bed. I see I have been tagged, oh joy! I'm at work tomorrow, & yes I know it's a holiday here, but some of us gotta do it, so I PROMISE to get to it when I get back on Tuesday (I work overnight). BTW, it's been raining here a lot too. I'm over it already.
Hugs, Coll :-}

HI, Love your coins. they are the lovely old ones. I was told that the animals on them represented value as in a horse being twice the value of...whatever or two rabbits = the worth of one hare. Ohhh, I'm getting confused now. Have a look and see if it is possible.
Anyway, Kimme is back and is detailing her stay in Ireland day by day....and tomorrow is Strokestown day! Be sure to check it out on Irish cottage dreams.

Wanna see what I've been up to ??
