Here comes Peter Cottontail..hopping down our Main Street trail..

...thing is...I can't find ANY rabbits, cottontails, or floppy eared, domesticated, Beatrix Potter style..nada

And it's not like I haven't looked....

Saw this guy, and although I didn't get close enough to actually see, I don't think he has a little puff of a tail..
So we looked....

Nope..that's Eve - the one who gave the eggs that probably started the whole "Egg-Bunny-Jelly Bean thing in the first place...

We finally just gave up and enjoyed our Spring walk..

The afternoon was spent thrifting for a while then off to the hardware to get plumbing supplies..but lookie what I found...

Box of eggs - $3.00
Pretty hand-painted pitcher for my paint brushes - $1.00
Cute wooden carved giraffe - $1.00
Pretty wooden tissue box - $1.00
Darling (and working) clock - $3.00
Silly polka-dotted chicken- $1.00
Old tin tray (prettier in person) $1.00

..Thrill of the hunt - Priceless....

Have a glorious, peaceful and Happy Easter..and don't eat too many Jelly beans..

Haha...when I read you went thrifting and then to the plumbing store and "look what I got", I thought you meant at the plumbing store. The first couple of pictures I thought, "Wow, they have a great plumbing store!" Oh, well, it's an 'age thing', I guess. Great finds. Lovely pictures from your walk! Happy Easter to you
and Mr. B!

Travel with Peter Cottontail as an authentic steam train takes you on a 45-minute journey from the East Strasburg Station to Paradise, Pa. and back.
Also enjoy a ride on our miniature steam train, or steer the Cranky Cars around a track.
