Hello all.....

Just a quick note before I go to bed..

I hope you all had a great day. All of us mothers of children, adults, fur-babies and mother-like aunties, grandmas and friends.

When I was at Gardner Village, I found this card...

....one for all of us who have husbands who just quietly shake their heads when we bring in another craft, collection or piece from a yard sale....

Who wonder - out loud - what they paid you to remove that piece of junk from their yard....

Who think to themselves "Where in the heck is she going to put that...?"

Or "what is that?"

"What do you think you can make out of that?"

Do you really think you need another.....??"

"You'll just have to dust it..."

And..."that would look so much better (painted, washed, fixed, varnished...out of here....)"

Have a great Monday - and "talk" to you all soon!

-me

PS - the card is from Curly Girl Designs http://www.curlygirldesign.com/

Clearly you have been at my house on any given Friday! That's the same conversation we have!lol
That card is perfect! It had to have been written by a kindred spirit- to either us or our husbands.

What a sweet card that is and how true! Only I get "The dogs are just gonna knock that over!" And they do and it's ok! LOL! Almost everything I buy is pooch proof! : )
Thanks for sharing and making me smile!

I just tell mine that all his friends wives buy v.expensive designer labels on a weekly basis, not to mention facials, health spas etc and same friends are so jealous that he got an easily pleased, low maintenance woman who is happy to get dinky little trinkets that cost half nothing!

...He does sometimes comment... "that would look lovely in the attic!" Bless him.
