OK, so do you remember the black lunchbox I bought??

...well, it's not a simple black lunchbox anymore!

Flashback to Sunday........

...well, I sprayed a little Antique White paint...added some of these....

..and it started looking like this....

But, as we all know, I just can't leave well-enough alone, so it started looking like this....

and this.......

and some of this....back view...

.

Then I had a look at the front..I printed out a photo of my Mother and her sister on a piece of fabric - then adhered that to a tag....added a couple of buttons, and old key and some lace..

Tore out a page from an old dictionary that gave the definition of "Mother"...

Put it all together and this is what end up with....

Well, that's today's project.

Hope you like what I did...have a good night and sweet dreams!

Even in the deepest crevices of my mind I would not have come up with anything remotely like that! How clever!! I am always impressed with the things you just whip up so effortlessly! I L.O.V.E it!!!

Love, love, love it! What a clever idea to use old dictionaries like that. You need to open your own shop.

A lunchbox like that should only carry gourmet meals. Is Mr. B ready to prepare you a gourmet lunch every day when you start to carry it? Too cute!

I can't believe how great the things you create turn out! I try, but usually it just ends up looking like something I would have brought home to my mom from the third grade. Nice effort - kind of messy product that only a mother could appreciate.
Anyway, I hear congratulations are in order! I am so very very happy that you got it! Now I'm gonna have to think about tracing my roots. :) (And I don't mean those stubborn gray hairs that keep multiplying on my head!)
Love you!

Hi Utah Grammie,
I'm from Utah, too. I remember the old black lunchbox. It's just like the one my dad took to Thiokol and the dry farm everyday. They probably would have wondered about him if he had shown up with one you got your hands on.
I think it looks great.

Oh WOW! That is absolutely awesome! What kind of treasures will you keep hidden inside? Perhaps your collection of letters and stock certificates, etc.? You've given me the most wonderful idea of what to do with an old wooden toolbox I purchased to keep my collection of "MY" power tools in! Now, where did I put that box of . . . . . . .

Blessiings!
