"What a difference a day makes...24 little hours.."

Boy howdy, I am really aging myself with these old songs, huh?
Oh well.

I could say it's because I was raised on Lawrence Welk on Saturday night...which I was.

Anyway, better day, better mood, more accomplished, puppies fed and walked... and an award!

Joyce from Brookside Cottage, gave me this award........
.

Stop by her pretty blog and say "hi" - I know she'd love to meet you...http://brooksidecottage.blogspot.com/

(and thank you Joyce and right back at ya!)

Well, we're pretty much finished. I still have to hem the curtains, make throw pillows from the remnants, put hooks up for the tie-backs...but pretty much ...done.

Kaput. OK, so, not kaput in the usual sense...more like...

Finneto.
The end...probably....maybe not...you all know Mr. B by now.

Here are a few shots - may have photographed better in the early morning hours, but I don't necessarily plan on being up in the early morning hours tomorrow...

This is a corner thingy that Mr. B fashioned out of a double-drop leaf table he bought at a thrift store...has very large lidded baskets underneath to hold extra pillows, blankets, etc...

This is a TV stand he also got there...until he has more time to fashion a custom one for us...

This is the wall facing the window seat ...wanted to "keep it simple" which may sound easy to most of you, but I have always thought of walls like money - if you have some, use it...

This is toast. I love toast. A staple in my life. Toast.

(I digress...)

Curtains without the tie backs....

Darling little hedgehog chatchkie I bought...

Side wall .......

Bought this a couple of years ago at a yard sale..I will put a photo of his Grandmother and my Grandmother in each of the windows using the old print as a backdrop...

The two top windows have glass in them...

Well, my teddy bear seems to think it's time I got to bed...

You too?

Well, sweet dreams and have a really wonderful Sunday..we have snow again!

Oh yeah...

What a beautiful and fun room! I should have known your new furniture would look almost identical to ours...even the arm cushions on the couch match ours! Great taste, tee hee. I love your celery walls and your new curtains...perfect together. Of course, my favorite thing in the whole room (besides you) is the picture of "Friends for Life" with Lulu and Braxton...what a fun frame! You and Mr. B have done well!! Love, Betty

Hey you! I've been searching for your email address, guess I don't have it. Your remodel looks great! I have a rock for you from Kauai - not sure what transpired over the weekend, maybe I'll see you tommorrow? If not, call me at the office and we can plan a time to get together so I can give you the rock!
