Another "sing-a-long"!...I'm dreaming of a white....

....Valentine's Day!

Yep, we had one big ol ginormous snowstorm settle in over the valley. Schools closed - some students had to spend the night because the roads in/out of the schools were impassable.

Yuck. But all are safe & sound....I just know as a little kid, I've had enough of school for one day!

Mr.B shoveling at 5am for his little pups to have a place to, ahem, call their own......

Wish they'd called for a "snow day" from work......but, hey, then I wouldn't be able to share photos of the fabulous "cookie decorating contest" now would I ??

Yeppers...cookies, sprinkles, fun and all at work...what could be better?

Oh, OK, if it were on a Friday, that'd be better...

And if it was on a Friday and it was payday, yeah, that'd be better....

And if it was on a Friday, and it was payday and it was the last day of work before an early retirement, OK, that'd be WAY better....

But now for the photos of a really fun day........

I made little Valentine's for some folks at work ............

Do you remember those little candies in the wrappers? You opened the wrapper and used your teeth to get them to slide into your mouth?

Here are some of my cute albeit young co-workers....

Tables with displays of beautiful cookies...all to be judged by "secret ballot"...........

this is my entry.......

.....And this one is for our snow-shoveling-puppy-lovin'-hubby.....

Then the evening ended with a beautiful surprise of this.......

..........and a lovely home-cooked dinner of hot dogs & chips- hmmm....that & a Diet Coke and I'm in heaven! Oh, and Ben & Jerry's Phish Food Ice Cream!

I do hope you all had a fun & safe day.

The week-end's here - do something for YOU!
