Bad girls, bad girls, whacha gunna do when they come for you...

I think my Nancy Drew-like tendencies have finally surfaced.

I know the answer to that eternal question everybody has on laundry day......

What happened to the "other" sock????

While this investigation was long and arduous, (cool use of words, huh?) the time spent paid off...big time...big payoff...

I was on the stake-out, camera ready for anything...Night setting - check. Zoom on - check.

Is it turned on?
Oh yeah...check.

And yet I was caught off-guard when, under the cover of a newly-remodeled living room (isn't it just too fabulous!?) , a red-headed flash went past me.

Without so much as a sound..leaving only the scent of Milk-bones ...and into the darkness of the bedroom..

But I was undaunted ("daunted" ?? here we go again with the words...)...I followed, camera on - flash ready...

That's when I spotted HER....(cue the 50's sexy music here...)....drop-dead gorgeous.

Petite and agile...wearing only a necklace with a heart that reads "Lulu - Utah Rabies good until 2009" and the hint of a smile...but just a hint...

She could not gamble on the loss of the prize she so stealthily (?) had won....

The photo was snapped - the camera doesn't lie (....although I have heard it adds 10 or...ah... I mean, like 50 pounds...)

Here then, is the answer you've all been waiting for...Eaxmine if you will...this piece of irrefutable (love that word - although I've never heard "refutable") evidence......

Yes, this is Lulu...companion, friend, sister to Braxton, the apple of her Daddy's eye..and now this...
Sock Thief

There you have it....good dog gone bad...

....well, maybe not bad per se...but definitely not on the "up & up" when it comes to laundry.

And all this time I thought the "other sock" was eaten by the washer in the spin cycle....well, it could happen....

PS - don't worry - she never eats them -only protects them - we think she thinks their her "babies".....

All together now....Awwwww...

Hey, it's almost FRIDAY! Have a little fun, will ya?!

That is so darn cute. So darn cute. There's this episode of this disney show called Handy Manny. Everyone calls him to help. Grandma sita keeps losing her socks and they come to find that the little chihahau is to blame. :) SOOOO cute UG. I'll show my Emma and she'll get such a kick out of that pic.

If Lulu were any cuter, we'd probably drive up there and yank her from your arms...she is precious! Of course, Braxton is a handsome guy, as well. But Lulu's expressions grab my heart.

Happy Friday! Betty

How cute! I don't have a dog, so I wonder where my socks are going??

Just be glad she doesn't think the remote controls are her babies... then you and Dad would have some major problems.

I like to take her "babies" and put them high on a shelf where she can still see them, but not get them.

Haha, no I don't. I'm not touchin' your grody socks. :p

You made me giggle outloud! We have a sock lover in our house. A little blue russian kitty who thinks the sock is her baby... She meows loudly to it as if announcing "I'm your long lost Mother"... It's so sweet. She prefers fluffy socks! Oour pup just wrestles them and rolls around on top of them preferring the smellier type which my 12 year old son readily supplies! TGIAF! Thank God It's Almost Friday. I'm ready to let my hair down!

My dogs love socks too! And bras... they LOVE bras! (with our current moving situation, I sent the chest of drawers to our new home with hubby. Therefore, I took my bras and put them in a box just inside my closet door. Every chance they get... here they come, little puppies with a bra. They especially love the black one!)

Wanna see what I've been up to ??

I always wanted a dollhouse. My dad was a carpenter and was asked by one of his wealthy customers to make a dollhouse for their daughter. I...
