Sundays are for the birds.....

...literally..

On our morning walk today. Birds. Lots of them..

..and noisy.

Good noise. Great-to-hear-noise...

I guess they are always there..in the trees..through the branches.

But my view is obstructed at times by leaves, thoughts, or just plain not paying attention to wonder that is all around me, every day..

Sometimes hidden in the leaves..

Sometimes hidden in my thoughts...

..so pay attention.. pay attention..

They're there..singing to us....

Have a wonderful, beautiful, song-filled Sunday..

Wow...Hubby would be so pleased. He loves birds. We always try to find bird sanctuaries on our jaunts.

I love birds talking things over in the early morning. Wish we had all those beautiful ones Diane has in Australia.

One of my favorites is hearing the birds singing in the morning on a new Spring day while I am still in bed.

One day as my daughter and I were just riding home from a trip *up north* I took a back road and we saw something so cool, I had to pull over and watch....And now I think I have something to blog about....go check me out...
And thanks for the idea!

Gorgeous photos! Snow already? We always get threatened with it, but here in Wendover even the moisture runs for cover and hides until it passes over. I will be back for more, your blog is very nice!

Love the post and that very first photo. What kind of bird is that? I don't think we have them in NC.

Lots of birds here lately too. We do feed them sunflower seeds so we usually have bluejays, chickadees, and cardinals year-round. Today I could hear a hawk behind my house and then of course, the bluejays were after him.

Did you take some of these pictures yourself? I love birds and I'm always trying to take their pictures, so of course I have a ton of blurry bird pictures. Well...I love this post, because it's so true.

At the temp job I've been working, cedar waxwings have been coming every afternoon to feast on the berries of the trees growing right by the building's front door. (I think the berries are fermenting and the birds are quite happy!!)

Wanna see what I've been up to ??

I always wanted a dollhouse. My dad was a carpenter and was asked by one of his wealthy customers to make a dollhouse for their daughter. I...
