Wowzer! A whole New Year for us..just waiting...

After reading Betty's blog (http://www.joyinourlives.blogspot.com/) I thought about ..resolutions..

I really don't like that word because it always brings people down..like "Oh yeah, I'm going to make a list of yet even more things to feel guilty about not doing.."

Even some of the basketball players the news interviewed and asked about "resolutions" said things like "..sounds good for about a week" or "I hate making (then breaking) resolutions"

So, this year I've decided NOT to make "resolutions" but "do-solutions" ...hey..I just noticed that...resolutions.....re-solutions..or a solutions that needed to be re-done..Huh..interesting..

..or not..

Anyway, I am not going to "re" but rather "do" the following:

Honor and love Mr.B even more...if possible...........not that it's hard or im-possible now..no..just that I want to DO more...

Laugh at myself...also not hard to do...

Move more...(I don't want to use that awful word...exercising...ick..)

Honor my friendships with good women... Lord knows I've struggled with some bad women...well, not so much that they were bad..
...well..maybe a little..but they were not...honor-able..

Love my sisters...no bond stronger than that of the 3 Sullivan-Sisters (Sister Kathleen Mary, Sister Geraldine Margaret, and Sister Colleen Marie...)
it's a good thing God has a sense of humor, huh?!

Be a good "dog-ma" to our pups and all animals..

Share good books..either by recommendation or by actually sharing the book..

Write more..uh... actual letters! And "thank you" cards..and "on-time" birthday cards..and..and..

Enjoy the outdoors..quiet, reflective times..

Learn to make great pies...like Jenny next door..well, hope to be even close to as good as she is...

Organize my book shelves..

Be...quiet...soft...serene...(yeah, like I can "do" quiet!)

Enjoy peace and to promote peace...within my soul, my home, my neighborhood, my world..

And, most importantly, be someone you can lean on and also recognize and enjoy those I can lean on...

So there you have it... My list of "do-solutions"....attainable, fun, worthwhile.....and completely "do-able"!

Happy Happy New Year to you and your families. I am so very thankful that I've met you all and have had the pleasure of peeking inside your lives, traveling to far away places, seeing beautiful images, laughing, crying and knowing that you are there for me...

...what a totally, wonderful, awesome and heartfelt gift you give.....

Wowzer.

I looked at each photo and said...Oh I love that. Then scrolled and loved that. Then scrolled....you get it. But I guess my favorite is the cat asleep in the bookshelf. Because I have had a cat that used to do that. I don't know how they manage their bodies so well, but sure makes cute pictures.

Such fun reading your list...good ones!!

I don't think it's possible for you to love Mr. B even more...you two are so perfect for each other!

Love your new banner with Braxie and Lulu...they are so precious.

Happy, happy 2009! We WILL get together again this year somehow.

Love ya.

Very good do-solutions! I want to thank you also for becoming a follower of my blog. I noticed this morning I had a new one and it was you. Yay!! Most of those you posted are ones I want to do too. Like send cards on time, or to even send them. Too many times I buy them and then never get them mailed. Bad me! That I want to improve on for sure. And then in general I want to get more projects accomplished around my home. Happy New Year!
