Sing along with me..."..you light up my life...."

...and other hits from the 70's...

OK, so I really never totally liked that song..sorry Debby Boone.

But, I got to thinking tonight about lights. Betcha you thought I was going to say "people who light up my life"..huh?

No. Not so much. Lights. You know, lamps...night lights...ucky ceiling lights...twinkle light (my personal favorites..)

Realized I'd rather have 15 teesny lights on in the house than one ginormous light fixture. Little lamps with little bulbs..

...like 15 watt...25 if I want it bright..

Don't get me wrong, I do like daylight..........sort of.

If it's not too bright. I guess I have a limited-light-tolerance. You know, LLT.

Wonder if I can start a support group for LLT-ers. Hmm.

What kind of benefits would that get us...cute sunglasses paid for by insurance??

No dusting...make-up always looks great...NO VISIBLE CHIN HAIRS!

Oh well...here's what I mean..

How about you.... what kind of lights do you like....

Hope you have an 'en-lightened' day...mine will be ,oh, like 15 watts....

Okay, here's where we part opinions...I LOVE light! Sunlight, flourescents, ceiling fan lights, etc. My mom couldn't tolerate light due to a medical condition; our house was pretty dim and I always feel as though I'm in a cave or something if there isn't a lot of light! I'm a 100-watt sunshine girl! Love you.

I'm with you Colleen! I'm a low wattage girl! When I'm trying to read I MUST have good lighting, but otherwise I prefer all the little lamps! What the heck am I doing in AZ where the sun shines all the time?? LOL!

I love your lights so I do!
I agree -I feel so much younger in low lighting. I hate strong light (it's like being interrogated for something I didn't do) I didn't do it ...really!!!

Once again, like mother-like son. Jeff HATES overhead lights and prefers lamps or low-watt lights. Me, on the other hand, I LOVE light. It cannot be bright enough - I try to find the highest wattage bulbs whenever I need to replace them, nevermind the power I'm using, it's worth it!
Oh, and while we are on the topic, did you know that both Jeff and Brandi have a weird shopping obsessive-compulsive behavior? They both must choose an item that is three or four items back on the rack or on the shelf, as the one on the front has been "handled" by who knows how many people and is thus "contaminated." Johnny and I both think they're nuts, as the item they end up choosing has most likely been handled by quite a few people anyway. Funny. :)
Love you!

Personally, I like 'the clapper'...don't own one, but my Mom in Florida does...nothing like being awakened in the middle of the night by a round of applause...

But, I like bright light, 100 watt daylight bulbs, the curly-cue ones and yes, all the flaws are visible, but Scratchy cares not, she loves her Ma unconditionally!!!

I think it's a food thing...
