“I may not always be right, but I’m never wrong”…..

You know what “they “ say….

Have you ever asked who they are?

….and why do we think they are always right?

They’re not, you know…….always right…

Like about the birds. The “early bird gets the worm” and all..

I was walking by the park at about 11o’clock one Sunday morning and there were lots of birds getting lots of worms. And in the universe of Colleen, 11 is not early….

Then there’s the “can’t be too rich or too thin”….Enter Paris Hilton…

“cleanliness is next to Godliness”…..I’ve know some pretty clean people that are jerks. (and some messy ones that were close to being saints!)

We are always driven by what they say or what they will think. Or what they would do.

How about us? We’re pretty smart. We can think. We can even come up with things that sound all profound and philosophical at times.

Maybe not at the best times, or like 5 minutes later when if you had said it right then, you would have seemed totally cool. And scored some major points.

It’s like, when talking to a friend, we’re afraid to say something to better the situation, or to give our very own opinion, so we say “well, you know what they say..” so if it sounds silly or lame or the person dosen’t agree, well, it wasn’t YOU that said it......

It was they. Or them.

So I say, being this is my very last day to be 57 years old on this planet (no, I’m not going anywhere silly,– tomorrow’s my birthday !) go ahead and NOT worry so much about what they will say.

Just look at how many times theyve been wrong…...

If anyone asks how to "hug your goldfish", just tell them to put their index and middle finger on either side of the fishy's body and wiggle...they love it! Fun blog spot everyday! Betty

Wow, you and your sister Kathy have really close birthdays...well, not so much in years, but certainly in days (why am I telling you this...you've known it for at 57 years). Happy, happy birthday, Colleen.
