What is it about Grover??

I remember a dialogue that Grover had when we was working as a server in a diner..

It went something like this:

"Good morning Sir. I am Grover. I will be serving you today."

"Ah, hello Grover...I have the eggs and toast with orange juice"

"We are out of orange juice"

"OK..then I'll have the omelet and orange juice"

"We are OUT of orange juice.."

"Make it pancakes and orang..."

"SIR! We are OUT of Or-RrAnGe JUICE!!!!"

Makes me laugh just to think how frustrated Grover got. He was shaking and "Humph-ing"..

Which brings me to Ella. Ella Ireland. Ella Ireland Lopez. Who is turning 5 next week. 5 going on 15...

Ella:"My friend had a birthday at school today.."

Mommy : "Good! Was it fun?"

Ella: "Yes. They had cake."

Mommy: "How fun! You're going to have a birthday next week! With cupcakes!"

Ella: " I need a cake"

Mommy: "Yes, it's going to be cupcakes.."

Ella: "But I need...cake..."

Mommy: "CUPcakes...cupCAKES...cupcakes!"

Ella: "Cake"

Mommy: (sounding a little like ..Grover....) "Humph...CUPCAKES.."

Ella: "OK, cupcakes......and....... a CAKE..it's my birthday and I need birthday ....CAKE, OK?!"

Mommy:......sigh.......cake...ok...cake it is...

By the way Brandi, do you remember me telling you "I hope you have a daughter JUST LIKE YOU one day??!"

Welcome to my world...bwahahahaahahha!

Grover, I love you. Always have. Always will.

Grover was always my grandchildren favorite and the Count, I think that was a great show for children. Ella is a very pretty girl, tell her Happy Birthday and I hope she gets cake.

What a cutie she is! Sounds like she definately has a mind of her own. We've had over 18 inches of 'romantic snow' since Wed. night and I'm done with 'romance' in more than one way!! Jean
