It'a a sign of the times.....

..do you remember that song from Petula Clark? I can only remember the tune and the first line..."it's the sign of the times...da da da, da, da, da da da, da, da..something, something.."

I use my big 'o platters so often for signs that even Mr. B started using them for messages...

This is what I saw when I arrived home from my week in New Jersey..

So, when looking in my photos further, I found the sign my grandson and his girly-girl ( and the awsome-dog, Kobe) left after our "Thanksmas" gathering...

I used a smaller one for daughter-in-law Rachael's birthday wish...

..and the dinner menu for her birthday dinner...

Oh yeah, then there was Mr. B' s birthday...

And because he's such a cutie- I had to write another that same evening...

I have NO idea why I wrote this one....

Guess there just wasn't anything else to write that day...'cos it IS red..Hmmm...

Love "seeing" words around the house. I have lots of word signs, wall words and interesting word-thingys. I just love seeing the written word..

How about you? Letters? Numbers? Love it all!

Have a "Red Letter" day tomorrow, OK?

What a great idea.Words are fun. I'm a compulsive reader and read all environmental print. I get frustrated when I'm reading a T-shirt but I don't get to finish before the owner has passed.

Love all your plates. What kind of pen do you use?. I will have to write on one of my plates now. It's a great idea and a fun way to decorate.
Have a wonderful day,
Elizabeth

To anyone asking - they are Dry Erase pens - DON'T try this with a Sharpie!! :-)

I am now using smaller plates and saucers to identify the foods at buffet dinners or dips at parties, etc. Andy, yes, for "reminders" - like I would forget something? HA!
...Oh wait, what was I talking about..???

Here. Now you can sing along as you write!!!

It's a sign of the times
That your love for me is getting so much stronger
It's a sign of the times
And I know that I won't have to wait much longer
You've changed a lot somehow from the one I used to know-oh-oh
For when you hold me now it feels like you never want to let me go

It's a sign of the times
That you call me up whenever you feel lonely
It's a sign of the times
That you tell your friends that I'm your one and only
I'll never understand the way you treated me-ee-ee
But when I hold your hand I know you couldn't be the way you used to be

refrain
Maybe my lucky star at last decided to shine
Maybe somebody knows how long I've waited to make you mine, mm, mm, mm

Wanna see what I've been up to ??

I always wanted a dollhouse. My dad was a carpenter and was asked by one of his wealthy customers to make a dollhouse for their daughter. I...
