Cascade Springs..about an hour from where we live. Nice drive.
Mr. B, Grandma Evelyn, son Jeff and me....{ DIL Rachael was under the weather so she didn't take the chilly, curvy drive..}
The weather was perfect..cool and clean..
The colors were great..the water looked c.o.l.d!
..and I had the next month off...
..and chocolate wasn't fattening..but that's another post.

How lucky you are! Around here, if you want to go anywhere that the foliage is nice, you have to contend with traffic and long lines and hotels with no vacancy.
