I did it! I ate Sushi!

Wait..............WHAT?

No Nooo....nononononoooo..not Sushi...my fish..!!

Sushi...as in..uh..sushi....long rolls..tuna, salmon..you know..

Jeff & Rachael took me, Grandma Evelyn and Mr. B out for an early Mother's Day lunch on Saturday..

To a "real" Sushi place..all Japanese and all..

{no sub-titles..had nooooo idea what he was saying!}

...enjoyed the "etaa{who's-your}ma-mee"

Ever hear of eating Miso Soup with chopsticks??

Me either...

..but I did sorta get the hang of it...sorta..

Oh, I wore my new expensive..{like, $11.00 for the whole ensemble..looooove thrifting!}outfit..

..ok..the shirt is a little too big..I keep forgetting I take a smaller size now..

before...
after...

AND, I modeled it on our brand! new!.......driveway!!

{and you only got flowers...??}

Yeppers..a driveway..several square yards of concrete and gray and..well..concrete!

{not really before..sort of during..}

Ta-flippin'-Da!!

So....who's your Mommy???

You are one brave mama! I couldn't have done the sushi. Nope. Not in many years. In fact, any asian food does numbers on me that aren't pleasant at all. If I go out to lunch with people and these are the choices, I just get a coke and enjoy the gab.

Yay! Congrats on the new driveway AND the first sushi experience! I first tried it about two months ago and it was pretty good. I don't go for the hard-core raw stuff just yet,though...mostly smoked, etc. :P

Hey , you nearly made me fall off my ball laughing. Yep I'm sitting on a gym ball typing to try and stop my back hurting. You are looking so slim, love your thrift outfit and the new driveway, better than nothing.

Okay, but what did you think about the sushi? Will you eat it again? I love what you did with the bag...very cute! Yes, you're fading away to a mere shadow and you need a smaller shirt. :D How great is that and at those prices...no problem!

Looks like you had a fabulous day and you can't beat looking so great in such a cool (and inexpensive - love thrifting too) outfit. Sushi? I really love some of it, other bits and bobs, not so much.
