Colleen, you did so well being bilingual. Maybe not enough to put it on a job resume, but maybe enough to get by when traveling in Mexico... it's all in the accent! Not sure how much you can use that in UTAH! I have been missing a bit, but should be back to my ole' self next week.... Have a great Cinco De Mayo, my little Chihuahua!!!!
Isn't there some liquor involved in Cinco de Mayo? That's what I want to celebrate.
Funny, I read the other day (wish I could remember where) that Cinco de Mayo isn't celebrated in Mexico at all. It's one of the mostly insignificant days (kinda like our Columbus Day) and it's the American's who decided the Mexican's needed a Holiday here. Hmmmmm....
Oh well, Party on everyone (o:
I love those fancy dance skirts! And the treats sound great. I think I may have had the cake before, and I am going to have to test the soup on my family. They just love being the Dapoppins test family.
Off to our favourite Mexican restaurant tonight!!
Thanks for the recipes. We had Chipotle for dinner.
Well I have never heard of Cinco de Mayo but funnily enough we had a mexican meal last night. How about that for coincidence?
I am going to make that Mexican soup...the cake sounds delish too but perhaps a bit too good! haha
I could eat Mexican food every night!!
I will have to try that soup.
XOXOX
