Just like that..ffttt..it's over...

Time well spent, but quickly gone...

A little snuggling before we have to say "good-bye"....

"Do we have it all?"
Getting warm for the trip...

Bye Emily...

Bye Chris - thanks for driving out...

Bye April...love you..be careful and call when you get home...

And, they're off....
..We miss you already...

I think it's sad to watch family leave. What an adorable picture of Braxton and Lulu watching out the window...did they wave?

Have a happy, happy end-of-the-year. Love ya.

Loved reading your blog I came via Lucy's blog. The photo of the dogs saying goodbye is soooo good.

Yep, it is always hard to say good-bye when they leave and in the process leave a hole in your heart again. You got some great pictures. The one of the dogs saying good bye is precious.

My daughter flew out at 7:40 this morning. I am sitting here at work trying to fight back tears.

She was eager to leave (not to leave us but to leave snowy cold Bismarck) and get back to her boyfriend and her kitties.

Overnight, Bismarck broke the record for the most snowfall of any month, ever, at 33 inches!!!!

Yup...then we hear those words we dread...Good bye Mom, good bye Gram...then the silence...thank God for Scratchy...no silence there!!!

But I'm so glad we met, even though virtual...you never know what tomorrow will bring...new hope , new friends, new promise and New Year...here's hoping all the best for you and your kin.

And Scratch says don't forget Braxie and Lulu...the nerve!

See ya next year!

It is nice to have family over but sad to see them go, the time usually flies. Your granddaughter looks exactly like my granddaughter when she was that age. I am stopping to wish you and your family a Happy New Year.
