Aww thanks for the memories. When I was a young girl my family stayed at a residential apt. while vacationing in Santa Monica. I saw a star on one of the doors. It was gold and said Mr. Laurel underneath. I kept a vigilant watch and pretty soon this lady came out and I asked her if that was Stan Laurel and she said yes. A day later she knocked at our door and said Mr. Laurel would like to have me come to tea. Ofcourse I went and spent an enjoyable time with him. Even though he was a lot older he looked the same. He was the highlight of my trip. I will never forget his kindness to a little girl.
What a fun video Colleen, thanks for the laughter and smiles!
A clever video. I remember going to the pictures and laughing my head off watching them. My dad was a good ballroom dancer.
Lucky Sharon, what a memory!
Oh I love Laurel and Hardy so that was a good memory right there. I once did a biography on Stan Laurel and I named my daughter after him. No! Not Stan! :D
If your dad learned that dance, I'd say that he was a very good dancer. Too cute!
Fun video...the fondest memory of my parents (both still living thank goodness) is of them dancing together...they could go from one end of the dance floor to the other without missing a beat...Dancing with the Stars couldn't hold a candle to them...lol
OT but.. That's my problem! WHAT triggers the Blogger Automatic spam Detector???????????
-sigh-
And I discovered something else, since you read/commented on that post. Please go back and read, the Addition, I put in red.
Hi Colleen, comedy sure has changed a lot since that time. Was much nicer when it was all clean and simple fun.

Chris just watched it with me and had a good laugh! He is now posting it on his FB account, he liked it that much. What a great dancer your Dad must have been....or a comedian....s
