...it's like I want to unscrew the top of my head and massage it. Oy vey...
Lots of information...lots of plans for the house...lots of learning at work...lots of thinking about..STUFF..
So, I thought I'd just share some of my favorite things with you. Not people (I'd have too many to list..lucky me) but things.
Things that make me smile, feel all warm and soft. Things that remind me I have a LOT to be thankful for...
So with that said...and in no particular order...
Lilacs over the neighbor's fence - briefy here but so smelly-good!
My faux-crocs..comfy, cool, cheap and really ugly.
Mmmm...Cloudberry Preserves (Ikea) - just the name conjours up pretty....Cloudberry.... - I like to heat some in the microwave and use it as syrup on waffles...
enough said..
Braxton and Lulu - I just want to inhale their essence and try to be the person they "think" I am..
Little old "folded-ear Bones"...sweet, independant, moody Bones..
Toast...just .... toast..
Quail....the way the call to each other, the way they protect each other , the way they SCURRY when they can FLY..
Mornin' !!!Doves (not mooooourning doves... )
Love the sound when they take to flight. Love that I thought they were hootie-owls when I heard them when I was a kid... .
When life gets hectic, pause, think about the simple things that make your life FANTASTIC - and give thanks.
Have a good Wednesday-

hmmmm, good stuff Colleen....it truly is the small, simple things that make us smile isn't it? Hope your sweet brain rests good tonight!! xxoo, Dawn
Simplicity! I tell you Colleen, that's the thing! Great post!
Your poochies are just gorgeous!
I know the "pain" of starting a new job and trying to absorb it all. I thought my brain was going to explode when I started this job about a year ago! It will all sink in and life will relax again soon!
Have a great day!
Hugs...
Jan
