'Tis the season to be...

..tired..

Don't know why really...

Really..well..maybe I know  a little.

Seems Lulu is a  watch dog.

A real watch dog...

A watch me dog..

And when my breathing is labored {much less labored since I've lost some weight}she wakes me up.

So I get up, let her out and she obliges me with a token pee.. ...piddle...potty.

Then, I try to go back to sleep..ah, who am I kidding..as soon as my head hits the pillow I'm back to sleep..

I have actually fallen asleep while standing in the yard and waiting...and waiting..and ..

So, I go back to sleep and a few hours later, we go through that again.

The reason we know it's all about the breathing is that Mr. B witnessed it one day as I fell asleep on the sofa..and started doin' the old head-bobbing thing..and was making noises.

She became very attentive, then was nervous, then concerned..then she crawled into my lap and gently woke me up.

How can I gt mad at that?

Yep, I can't..

But I do get tired...a lot.

Because before you know it, it's 4:45am and I am getting up for the day.

So, I am in that "having a new baby and getting 2 hours of sleep at a time" mode.

And I love my baby, Lulu.

But, what I would give for a full night's sleep..safely and so Lulu could sleep, too.

How much sleep do you get?  Is it enough?

OK, so go rest now and have a great tomorrow.

-me...and Lulu

PS...I really do love you Lulu..and Braxton. Sweet dreams...

I don't sleep well at all. Here a little there a little. It's probably very un-healthy. Lulu is a darling. I was asleep one night this week when it was so cold outside and woke up feeling this 'heavy weight'. Hank was curled up on my back. Then I didn't want to bother him but after a while 17 pounds got a little heavy. It's hard to bother a sleeping cat.

All for the love of a dog... No, I don't get enough sleep, but it's not because of a cute little dog. Well, maybe lately it is??? You describe those overnight pit stops so well.

Lulu might save your life some day. Well, if the lack of sleep doesn't do you in first. jk I love that she's concerned for you. That's the good thing about retirement. I can catch a nap (and do) often. It's divine.

oh wow, I seem to now need 9 hours, with a couple of pottie-breaks. Used to be 8 hours did it. But for some reason, it's now 9, naturally. And they say we need less sleep as we age. Oh well, if anyone is going to go counter to a *Rule,* it'll be me. ,-)

And I'm here to say THANK YOU for taking the time to comment a reply, to my blogging Questions. Thank you!

Gentle Winter hugs...

Seems like Lulu has her owner trained! I bet if you refused to get up and bring her out, she'd settle down and go back to sleep. Could be she's gotten into a bad habit!

Is she waking you because she is worried that you are ging to stop breathing? Sounds like it. Dogs just know when something is wrong. Do you think it could be Sleep Apnea? Thats what it sounds like to me. You can be treated for that, ask your doctor next time you go. Nothing worse than not getting a good night's sleep. I usually sleep well unless I'm stressed or excited.

Well it's almost 2 in the morning here. I'm just now starting to feel sleepy, and I can't believe the places and times I've fallen asleep. Like on the phone, in the middle of a game of solitaire, and also on the porch waiting for the dogs to finish their duty. I have trouble going to sleep, but when it hits, I'm out

I feel good if I can get 6 hours of sleep. By 3 AM I usually wide awake.. staring at the walls. The mister is snoring softly.. which I don't really mind but he acts like he is enjoying it so much that I want to smack him.
Your dog adorable.. and obviously very attached to you.

Isn't she sweet! I normally get about six hours. It's not enough and lately I have so much on my mind that I toss & turn a lot. I'm not feeling well and that only stresses me out because I have a million things to do! Daughter is going to help me next week and I hope I feel better by then. One day at a time. At least I am getting caught up on posts while I rest on the couch. Love that last picture. That is love.

Wanna see what I've been up to ??

I always wanted a dollhouse. My dad was a carpenter and was asked by one of his wealthy customers to make a dollhouse for their daughter. I...
