Sometimes..{UPDATE On Gerri at the end }

..the path is straight..no surprises..you can see it all at one time..

..but then you come to a curve..and you look in wonder..

"What will I see?  Where will it lead?"

Surprises ..unexpected...fun!

Just think how dull life would be if one always saw what's coming..

We'd miss the unexpected..

The beauty..

The joy..

Keep your eyes and your heart open to all of the possibilities..and all of the gifts...

Gerri's surgery is this morning, so as soon as I hear - I'll add an update.

Blessing and sincere gratitude for all your wonderful-healing-loving thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE!!
 I just heard from Gerri's daughter, Lisa and all went well.."very well" in the words of the surgeon.  They removed a portion of th elung and have sent it to the pathologist  - they should know more in 48 hours :-)  She is in intensive care for the next 24 hours (routine for heart patients) and may go home as early as Friday. YAY!!  Thank you all and THANK YOU GOD :-)

Wearing a big old smile over here. Thanks for the good news. Sometimes, I think we just don't get much about this life because we don't see the big, really big, picture. Thanks for the lovely prose and I'd rather see a curved path any day than a long, straight one. Hugs to you...
