I reeeeallly hate mis-placing things...

...but I do it all the time. Then I spend hours looking and looking and I can't stop..looking and looking....

..everytime I think in my mind that I can "see" just where it is.......it isn't.

Ack. So, are you forgetful? I mean, I don't forget appointments or to go to work (actually - I did forget to go to work one day..bygones.. )

I forget names. I forget to brings things I say I'm going to bring. I forget where I put the postage stamps. Or the needed receipt. Or my car... Or what I said 5 minutes ago...

Or where the cookie sheets are. But, on the good note, I have learned how to "manage" some of my forgetfulness...large dry-erase boards - or in my case- platters - that I write things out on. But, that only works if I RemEMbEr to write it down..

I call myself. But sometimes I'm not there so I have to leave a voice mail message for me.

And, I email me all the time. Then I read this cryptic message and think - "wha??"

But like I said, I will eventually find what I am looking for and like the quote from the other day:

...ah..I can't remember how it goes...so here's a new one:

Quote of the Day

"I would join a book club if I liked books or clubs."

Just messin' with ya - I love books. Not so much clubs..

Have a MEMORABLE Sunday..

Do NOT make me do this to you....

Yes, I'm more forgetful than I used to be! I also talk to myself; but, I've heard it's okay if you talk to yourself. It's even okay if you answer yourself. It's not okay to say, "Pardon me?"; I should at least know what I'm talking about, eh? Have a wonderful Sunday!

I bought some small Christmas gifts recently for me nieces and nephew. I came across an idea of what to do with them. Yesterday I came across the gifts I bought, and now for the life of me I can't remember the idea of what to do with them. I still can't remember, and it is bugging me too. Oh well, i should have wrote it down on something, like your platter at the time I thought of it. LOL! Thanks for your post. Now I know I am not the only one. Although I have never forgotten to go to work.

HA ha!! It's even cuter because it's soooo true! Sometimes I get home and see that I have 5 messages and wonder who on earth is calling me? And they are all from ME! Just trying to get organized...ha ha!

Happy Pink Saturday...and..

Happy Thanksgiving!!
