Dija know I love quotes??

Well, I do. And today I read one on a blog (sorry, don't remember which one..sorry!) that said

"One of the advantages of being disorganized is the joy of discovery."

- A.A. Milne, author of the Winnie The Pooh books
I love that one. Probably because it's so true..for me and from what I read on other blogs, for most of you too. (sorry, Karin - I just SOO related to what you said on your posts!)

I love my art room. Very much. And I THOUGHT that I had done a "clan sweep" on it just a few months ago....

And I really haven't shopped...per se.....but it is so f.u.l.l. that I don't know what I have, what I haven't or what I need (probably nothing...)

The problem is that it's sooo hard to let go of things...you know, that "I may need this one day"..or..
...."wow! This is great! I forgot that I even had this! I'll put it somewhere where I won't forget! Now..where should that be??"

Trouble is, I don't really know how to do a "clean sweep"... how to organize so that I can have what I need without having to do a search..making it not so fun to create...which is really really what I want to do..create..not clean..

The last thing I made, I really really liked. A bag-book..for quotes...and I just re-found it..

Oh, I am a joyful person!
I have experience the "joy of discovery" just today!

I know the feeling. Want to create, but can't find what I need. Then I think, I need to clean so I can find things. But then I can't get started, because I don't know where to start. Aaackk! I think you got the quote from my sewing and craft blog. I remember you commenting on my blog how you like the quotes I found.

Oh how I like that quote!!! I throw all my paints in a big container...someone wondered why I dump everything, not keep it all organized...its the thrill if finding a color that will work, but it wasn't in the plan!! I'm glad you found your quote book!!

I, too, love quotes. I think either Kathy or I sent you my favorite: "I know you believe you understand what you think I said; but, I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant." Haven't a clue who said it, but I've always remembered it. Talk about a communication problem...this would be my answer.

I just love your craft room...it's so full of fun things! And, now is a good time for creating.
