A cuppla things to share....

So, my daughter April knows I love quotes and sent me this one today:

“Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.”

Pretty good advice, huh?

Well, I found one as well........

"Consistency - It's only a virtue if you're not a screw up."

Yeah, she always did have more class than me..

OK, and I got my issue of Better Homes and Gardens and they had these really cute gift tags - AND the FrEe downloadalbe link!

They're cute on their own, but with a few additions, they're darling...

I know the link is hard to read, so just go to www.BHG.com/gifttags and you can make a gazillion and even give them, maybe tied with that cute red & white baker's string, as neighbor gifts...I know I'd love getting a stack..
OK, so have the girls over to make a bunch of the tags up and serve this yummy soup that's not even bad for you...and Weight Watchers or not, it's GOOD!
Awesome 1-point Cheese Soup

2 16 oz. pkg. of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrot mixture
10 oz. Rotel tomatoes with green chills
10 oz. Light Velvetta cheese, cubed
3 14.5 oz. cans of fat-free chicken broth

1. Combine veggies and tomatoes
2. Cook in pot on medium heat until veggies are tender.
3. Place veggies in blender and mince.
4. Return mixture to pot with broth and add Velvetta cheese.
5. Heat until cheese melts. DO NOT BOIL.

Ten 1-cup servings. 1 point each.
Thanks Kristina W. http://kwernerdesign.com/blog/ for putting this one on a past blog!
Have a Thumptious Thursday..

I love quotes, too, Colleen!

Those tags are sweet.

Love both of the quotes! As a non-creative person, I'll have to pass on the gift tags...sad, but true.

Colleen,

I have worked in manufacturing for more than 20 years and have had this quote in my office for most of that time....
"Never argue with an idiot..they will drag you down to thier level then beat you with experience" Not as classy as Aprils(by the way I have a granddaughter named April) but sure is true in my environment.
