(1) You changed your Header here!!!!!

(2) I love the sign in your new Header!!! Those "My kid is smartest in .... Grade" are a pain, aren't they? -heh,heh,heh-

(3) Thank you for saying that I am "an amazing macro-photographer!" But I'm not a true one!!!!! I don't have a macro lens or even try for the settings my camera [might] have in it. All I do is take pics, and try to crop them & crop them & crop them. And make them look as clear as possible.

Sometimes I go tooo far and lose the pic. Other times, it looks quite good.

But I claim NO macro abilities. I am "in lust with" how some gals can do macro, though!!!!!! And it drives me, to keep trying myself, even without fancy equipment. And even without reading the instruction book which came with my camera!!!!!!!!! My bad.

(4) An old fashioned soda fountain! Our [150 year old] corner drug store, had a soda fountain, for a long number of years. We finally had to take it out and use the space, for selling things which made money. The soda fountain was quaint, but a money pit. :-(((((((((( Being a young family, we just couldn't afford to keep it running.

But he saved a lot of the marble, and uses it. Just put some, in our new tiny Laundry Room!

And we were given some of the way-back-original wood and he refinished them. They are now display cases. Beeeeeeeeeutiful old, real, wood & marble display cases. :-)

Wheeeeeeeeeew... I'm long winded this morning! :-)

Btw, those wayyyyyyy back parts of the fountain, got stored in someone's barn...... years and years ago. Never knew where they had gone. Until the son of the owner found them and gave them to us.

Guess some old relative of his, had been friends with drug store owner back when some renovation was done. The beeeeeeeeeeeeutiful original pieces were stored in top of the garage and forgotten. We were so lucky to have known the then owner and that he was aware enough to appreciate them. And to just let us come get them.

And then my husband set about fixing broken bits and fixing the finish..... to return them to their original state! We have old pics, which he could check with. :-)

Yes, I will go away now! -giggles-

My favorite cafe in the whole world! In 1933, my mother and father went down to Logan from Rigby, Idaho February 1 during a hard winter. When they got there they ate dinner at that cafe and then the next day they walked to the Logan Temple and got married. Everytime I go through Logan, I HAVE to stop at the Bluebird...just because.

Nice trip! Beautiful pictures. You were a good girl to stay away from that case. Love the look in here right down to the chippy white clapboards. Wonderful!
