... with heels...and boobs..
Oh, I may look like I like to cook. I may even read a few cook-books. And I own an apron, or two or 3..
..but this little beauty? Oh yeah...did I ever tell you about my most amazing neighbor, Jenny?
Oh, I may look like I like to cook. I may even read a few cook-books. And I own an apron, or two or 3..
She is the queen of pies. And jam. Pies and jam. Oh yeah.
Well tonight, knowing we are expecting family for the week-end, Jenny brought over this beAUtIFuL pecan tart...with the crust so flaky and light..it was like it wasn't there.
Each pecan placed individually in it's own little place...almost too pretty to eat..
Yeah....right...have we met??
ah huh...I had some..oh yeah..Weight Watcher's isn't until Tuesday..and I can live on water for at least 2 days prior, right??
And, the answer is yes...it was totally worth it. Scrumptious!
Oh, and Mr. B finished the hallway...and the topper? Put this on the pantry door...
And, no, he will not be allowed to put one on the bathroom door...The Crapper..I don't care how pretty the font is...or how much he says he's going to...
Have a wonderful week-end. I'll try to stop by for a minute when I can..

Call me crass... but i think "the crapper" would be pretty funny... and a great conversation starter for guests :)
Mmmmmmmmmm...pecan pie. My mouth is watering as I read. I have not had that in years. Marie Callenders? Here I come.
I like the idea of using "The Crapper" too. It would be a conversation starter for sure. I love the one on your pantry door. I never look like that cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Which this year it is my turn to do!
I just LOVE your cooking outfit : ). Those heels are very nice! I might need to cook in something like that. Maybe it would help me! I laughed out loud about your husband wanting to write Crapper on the bathroom door. The font is pretty, but that might be a little much! Have fun with your family!
Just like June Cleaver vacuuming in her pearls. I'm glad you have your say in the matter. Just keep holding out; crapper just aint decent. Have a great weekend. The pie looks heavenlhy. Kathi

I remember my Mom coming home from work looking just like that, back in the 50's, she was a receptionist in a Drs. office and used to wear the best heels...I loved to clop around the house in 'em. Alot of avocado colored dresses too, that she made herself...thanks for the stroll down memory lane, wasn't it fun to be alive in the 50's, ahhh, sweet innocence.
Love the sign on the Pantry..in my house we would have to call it the "Latrine" ...hubby retired military, Pop was military, step son is miltary and son-in-law was military.....see a pttern here???
So much fun having family company...they are the best kind....
