"How (or why) did you do that?" you may ask...
"Easy," I say, "Mr. B had the remote."
Nothing on that interested him. However, he needed to watch for 4 minuets each to decide that.
4 minutes.
Do you know I can get completely involved in a program in 4 minutes...??
I can.
4 minutes.
Enough to see the woman skydive in to the bus, the silver duct tape on Harrison Ford's mouth, to see that George passed his exam, to see the badger-scarred face of Jenna Elfman, to see Dwight Shrute fake giving birth (versus him really giving birth??) and a brief "flip-by" of Animal Precinct.....(neither of us can watch this, too much sadness...)
And so it goes. Braxton wants to play. Get the squeaky toys. Yep, he's a guy.......3 minutes and he wants to do something else. ( I almost said "3 minutes and he's done...but I thought (ahem) better not....
Lulu heavily sighs from her little bed on the window seat..."You people..." she thinks...
So, here I am, after reading with one eye while watching 4 minute TV shows with the other, hearing the dialog of the program while trying not to, and trying to hear the dialog of the book..and not succeeding..
Blog time. Hello friends time. Make coffee for morning-time. Turn on the nightlights-time.
Say good-night Gracie.
Goodnight Gracie....

Been there, done that!!! Makes me just a little crazy!! Why do you think I make stuff? All we can do is let them do their thing...and enjoy the 4 minutes we get or turn to creating artwork...hope you have the most wonderful Friday and fall weekend Colleen ~ xxoo, Dawn
Oooooooh...that takes me back more than I want to remember. I'm a commercial muter. It doesn't bother me if I wait in silence without something screaming at me to buy mentioned something. Exhusband would start clicking through channels at ad time which promoted two responses in me: 1. Real annoyance because he would start watching something and then would get back to what I was watching whevervehewouldwantto and 2. he had to have complete control of clicker. Which is one of the million reasons he's an X now.
Laughed too hard! I'm with you...I can get interested in four minutes or less. Jack will say, "Are you watching this?" Well, yeah, I WAS. You put it so perfectly. Oh, so funny!
Johnny does the same thing. Thank God we have 2 TV's. I think I am used to it, though, because that's a dad thing. When I lived at home, it was annoying, LOL!

Men should not be allowed have custody of the remote...so there!
I say "Goodnight, Gracie" every night, because that's the name of one of our dogs. I usually go to bed before Dan and Gracie sometimes sneaks in to sleep with me. She always gets booted out though.
Dan is one of those awful channel flippers. I had book club Thursday night so I missed "Grey's". Glad to know George passed. But what is this Jenna Elfman thing?
