I am spoiled....
No, not like milk, or cheese, or sour cream...hey, how do you know when sour cream is sour?
Hmmmmm.............
Anyway, yes, I'll admit it. I am spoiled. For years I was in denial. I am the youngest of 4 siblings, but I don't think I was a spoiled child.....
OK, well maybe just a little. But I was sooo cute! Just like a Campbell's Kid - all squishy and pink...
But with being off of work and having my Mother-in-Law on vacation which means I am doing what she swears she enjoys....
.....I know I have been spoiled.
Like, ironing.........ick.
Grandma says she likes to iron. So she irons Mr. B's shirts (I try not to buy anything that requires ironing for myself..and she soo loves him...)
Do you know he wears a freshly ironed shirt every day? Sometimes 2 in a day??? I pulled out the laundry and looked in horror at the amount of ironing I had to do...for just this past week, for goodness sakes.
My youngest once saw my iron and asked what it was...she thought it was some sort of play boat with a cord. Good thing I kept it high on the shelf and out of her (and my) reach...
So, had a bit of insomnia last night and ironed all his shirts...now I don't want him to wear any 'cause I'll have to do it all over again....geesh...do you really think they'd notice if he came in the office with a T-shirt & jeans????? I think not....
And that whole cooking-thing...well you know how I feel about that. Everyday. What's up with that?? Is that not what restaurants are for? Are we not supposed to boost the economy?
Mr. B still does the shopping...I can't be trusted in the store. I go in for bread & milk and come out $85 later...do you have any idea how much our magazines cost??
Then there is the pups. Let them in...let them out...let them out...let them in. When am I supposed to watch my HGTV?? How can they decorate the ugly houses without my play-by-play opinion of what the decorators are doing??
And the thought of reading a book?? OH NO....it's dinner time..."Sup-pers ready..."
I'm going to have to get a job so I can rest, huh?
So, part of the diagnosis is the acceptance....I am spoiled. And grateful. And lucky. And thankful..
But, I can still wait for the Organizing Fairy right?? We'll see...
Have a wonderful ( and restful) Sunday!

I'm domestically challenged I think. Even though I am catergorically somewhat spoiled; I can't Iron for sh^t. :) I use a STEAMER if I can. But it's NOT THE SAME. Certainly not the same as having someone ELSE do it for you. :)

There's an ORGANISING Fairy???..and no one told ME?!!!
Where do I apply?
I can't be trusted in the store either...because I go in for milk and bread and come out with milk and bread. Jack says, "What's new at the store?" Me...I say, "Was I supposed to look around? I thought we just needed milk and bread." It's obvious I'm not into food shopping, eh? Betty
