"The Queen of Comfort"...

Yeppers..that's me.

In clothes, jobs, homes, life. If it's not comfortable..I'm not wearing, living, or working at it.
{..or married to it..}

Jeans and white T-shirts.  ..hoodies and jammies and tennies and ankle socks..

Nothing fancy-schmancy-Nancy about me..

But.......every once in a while....

I see something that is soo pretty..so feminine and lovely..that I wish..

Wish I could wear this...
I mean..just look at that?

And I **LOVE** the gloves..

And I am old enough to 'remember' this style..and gloves..and pearl necklaces..

This was spotted on one of my blog-hopping expeditions and I must share the link to the designer's adorable site (and her quite-affordable dresses!)

http://crochetie.blogspot.com/

She even shares recipes..that peanut tomato hummus sounds divine!

Then there's http://jeanneoliverdesigns.com/blog/  and her..

dreamy-soft-beautiful-memory-provoking line...

Ah..yes...these all look lovely AND comfortable....

Anyone want to submit MY  name for "What NOT to Wear" on TLC??

Well, I'd submit only so you could get lots of new comfortable clothes. I love your attitude. Wish I had it. I still suffer in the name of "beauty" sometimes. (I'm so silly.)

I loved to dress well when I was younger. I always wore heels to work. I didn't buy expensive, but I did buy stylish. I was the ExeC Asst. to a CEO, I had to dress well.

However, now I just add comfort to my shopping purchases. I miss it sometimes, especially the beautiful heels!

Ah yes...and remember the lil' hats we wore to church on Easter Sunday and always the white gloves...and remember freezing our butts off walking to school in skirts, what were they thinking...I'll take mine 'farmhand chic' any ol' day, jeans and tees...yup!!!

That blue outfit is to great! There's so many new styles out that I would love to wear but alas my belly roles (gulp) won't allow it. I could be so cute if only I could cut off about 60lbs!! Where's the knife?

I'm with you and Miss Pearl, Colleen, comfy clothes for me, though I should be on What NOT to Wear myself! I'd never do it though, I can't even look at pictures of New York without getting claustrophobic. Love all the outfits, but hey, the girl in the last one looks weird with those legs!

I just ran across this website the other day too. Isn't it lovely!?! Like you, I love comfort - and I'm thinking everything at this site fits the bill. :)

Happy weekend, Colleen!

Really cute things! I think comfort is important. I often go against the rules for my comfort.

Love your new header. Me too I dress for comfort and warmth these days now that winter has arrived ahead of time.

Cute, cute styles. Wish I had the figure for them. I did once upon a time... back in the early 60's. Back when we had Mary Quant. Remember?? lol Oh well... these styles just prove that history repeats itself.
Love your post!
