What I learned...by Colleen

Yeppers..this has been a learning opportunity for the both of us.

But when you (me) think you know it all...it's quite an awakening.

Take the other morning...

Did you know once you put the toothpaste on another's battery-operated toothbrush, you should have it IN the mouth prior to turning it on??

Yeah, who would have thought toothpaste could spray that far? ?

Well, at least the back room in now "MINTY-FRESH!!"..

Oh, and did you know your (my) cell phone has an alarm? Yeah, it does!

We set it for 3 alarms at a time, so we put in the 12:43am meds, the 4:48 meds as well as the 6am meds..

And did you know the human body can look like an Appaloosa horse with multi-colored bruises? Uh-huh, it can...

Did you know, like when men have sympathy-pregnancy side effects and gain weight and have morning sickness? Well, I have "heavy-meds" sympathy side effects..I can fall asleep in mid-sentence, my eyes have trouble focusing...and I walk like I've had two too many Mojitas..

And of course my favorite...dealing with the bureaucracy of medical institutions, insurance
Can't wait to see Braxton & Lulu..and of course Mom.{not necessarily in that order..}

April & Chris and family can have their home back and not have to worry about us stealing their 2 dogs {or trying to gain all their affection!)

The flight is set for home on Saturday evening and hopefully, I will get to go back to work on Wednesday after doctor appointments and needed rest ( and laundry! Thank goodness for Wal-Mart cutie-T-shirts..)

Take care and I'll be dropping by when I can..

-me and Mr. B

oh, one more thing I learned....the young men who work at Old School Hamburgers have veeery baaad eyesight....when I ordered for Mr. B and me, the total came to much less than I had anticipated. When I told him I thought I owed more, he said.....

"no, that's the SENIOR DISCOUNT"....

alrighty then.....

Mr. B is looking good, and I'm glad you get to go home!
The discount? Is that a good or bad thing!?

Don't you wish all shop assisstants had veeery baaaad eye sight.
Poor mr B , he doesn't look his happy self but on the mend.
Health insurance is a mind field actually here it is not the insurance company but the doctors charging so much more than the refund that annoys me. I even had to pay before the operation (just in case I didn't make it probably.)
Your puppies will be pleased to see you and you them. Safe trip home. Those symptoms you described sound like classic stress. You should both improve faster when you are home with your own tooth brush.

I know you are both just wanting to get home, in your own bed, with your own kids (pets). Best of luck traveling... Mr. B. will be back to his own chuckling self in no time. Did you take a pic for the fridge of the black and blue? and are you going helmet buying when you get home?

So glad he is on the mend!

PS - I was thrilled to get the senior discount at the North American Steak Buffet. My sis, not so much - since she is only 51. LOL!

Oh you guys...glad that you can still grin and make the rest of us laugh, too. Hope that you accept all kinds of help and that you get some much-needed rest. If he's sleeping, you should be, too!

Hey hey hey...it's time to head home! I hope the flight is comfortable for you both and it's over before you know it! Use that new found sleep at the drop of a hat magic you have and sleep all the way home!
Take care to both of you!
