Want to know if your “drowsy “ medication is working??

…answer the phone at work with “Hello, yadda yadda yadda( insert company name here) , this is Colleen…how can you help me?”
I did that today.
Boy, talk about customer service …..for ME! Hahahaha!
Anyway, I got to thinking about my “blue book”..you know, the book I like to look at when I’m blue . Or bored. Or blue & bored. Which is usually the case. Because when I’m blue, I don’t do anything. So I become bored. Or when I start out bored, I realize I'm too lazy to do anything about it....and I get blue ...Hmmmm
So ..I looked at it yesterday. I was neither blue or bored, so that’s another thing altogether..well, now that I think back…maybe a bit bored……….

OK…I have this little book that I made - bound myself in a class somewhere..and it’s really pretty.

Handmade (not by me) paper for the cover and a pretty ribbon binding. Blank pages.. but I don’t have pretty handwriting, and it’s un-lined which makes it all that much worse..looks like an airplane taking off when I write like that….so I didn’t want to use it as a journal.

I decided that looking at pretty pictures really makes me feel better. You know, the ones like in Country Living or Country Home magazine? Or some of the beautiful photos on blogs that I have visited?

So I have made a scrapbook – like the old fashioned ones where you keep bits and pieces of stuff.
I can be inspired to make things, to decorate, to try new stuff, and all with the photos I have in my book. My blue book.

I thought I’d share some pictures of what I am doing……maybe when you blue or bored you can make a “feel better book” …hey..that’s what I should call it instead of my blue book, huh??

....wanna look at my feel better book?..

Is "Wanna look at my feel better book?" a take on the old "Want to see my etchings?" line??? Could lead to some interesting times, eh? You are sounding better and better healthwise...good for you. Betty

Hi Colleen! What a great idea! I have those days too when I'm feeling abit blue...being female I think hormones can do things like that to us...I have notebooks that I've saved my favorite magazines ideas in so maybe I should look at them! Thank you so much for your sweet words about my window project! A girl never gets tired of hearing compliments on her artwork...you wonder sometimes, will someone else like this? have a wonderful rest of the day, xxoo, Dawn

Before I quit my job to go back to school I was notorious for answering my home phone "Credit, This is blah blah". Everyone that called the house usually cracked up.

I want to borrow your feel better book! It is beautiful! Funny that you asked the customer "how can you help me!" Did they laugh?

Wanna see what I've been up to ??
