Luckily no fatalities..except their cars..and I don't want the "Silver Pearl" to get any bumps or dings on her...
But that meant no driving to Zumba..and I rarely miss my twice-weekly classes..I like it that much..
So, I re-introduced myself to the lovely and very well-kept {read: unused..} treadmill.
3.2 miles. Yep..I kept telling myself "Just 10 more minutes and will stop"..but then it got closer to 2 miles..and then I said.."OK..go to 2.5.."
Well..that's pretty close to 3 miles..let's see..
Then there was that little known fact (to me anyway) that 3.1 miles equals a 5K..so I went on.
And I did it! It took an hour..but that hour would have gone by anyway..probably not in a very constructive way..Sunday mornings are for not doing housework , you know?
...who am I kidding..loosing weight is great!! The feeling better/better health is an added bonus :-)
Soooo..have a happy President's Day and if you're lucky enough to have it off...enjoy..
{hi ho hi ho, it's grumbling off to work I go,,,}

I think you were smart to stay home...not worth the risk. And you discovered something good...the treadmill...lol...every little bit counts...and a 20 minute mile is good!..especially three of them.....omgosh...my word verification was porky!! lol...
Very smart to stay home! What do we have to prove hu? Driving in rotten weather!
Ahhhhh yes, the *dreaded* treadmill. I renewed her acquaintance a while ago. Then, for wonderful reasons I'm sure, have disregarded her again. -sigh-
Gotta... Gotta... Gotta...
'Mrs. Bradley' ,-)
Wow!!! color me impressed. Good for you.
The treadmill is in my basement beckoning me, now the only question is should I answer the call??
XOXO

I gave up driving in the snow two accidents ago. Right now my treadmill/clothes hanger is mocking me so maybe I'll clean it off and take it for a spin for old times sake. I'll tell him it was your idea.
You spent an hour on the treadmill? You are my new hero. Now have fun at work because I know that you love your work. You do, right?
You are my new hero. Good luck. Careful in the snow. It's sunny here but "cool" by Arizona standards. (I won't complain, I guess.) I'm watching old movies and reading books about pets. I can do that much easier than treadmills. ;O)
Have you thought about moving to Mesa? You snow troubles will be over. Hey. I'll trade houses straight across with you. Deal? :)
Hey Colleen! I just caught up on your February posts. :) I had a seed bead episode one time. Those little boogers sure can travel. Glad to hear you had the smarts to stay home. Why is it that even when there is a storm and folks know that conditions are gonna be bad, they still think they gotta get out and about? When I was working out with my girlfriends and we were competing to see who would lose the most inches and weight, I know that I was successful because I always got in a 30 minute run on the treadmill before they even showed up. Of the 5 times we weighed in, I won 3 times and they each won once. :) So you keep on keeping on. Best wishes for the rest of your week. Tammy
My knees won't let me on the treadmill Colleen, but my exercise bike is screaming at me from the corner! I guess it's time to go for a ride! You're an inspiration!
Where do go to Zumba? It's all I hear about!
Wow you are really into the exercise thingy. Good for you. I still haven't had the guts to join Zumba but I walk most mornings if it is not pouring rain. I wouldn't say you are a wus, more like sensible.
U are AMAZING!
