You know what I like about Christmas??

I mean, other than the whole "greatest gift ever", what with the birth of Jesus and all..
What I like is that keeps on going..

From Thanksmas..to Christmas parties at work..uh..I mean "Winter Frivolity" celebrations..{I don't care what's politically  correct..really??.they're CHRISTMAS parties, people!!}...

..to neighbor/friend get-togethers...

..to Christmas itself..

..to my friend's "the first Sunday after New Year's Christmas Party"..yes, that one was tonight..

..to spending some of that Christmas cash-gifts on great sales..

I. Love. It. All.

However...I am equally as glad ..that it's finally...OVER!

Yay!  Now I can see my counters again..go to Zumba again..eat my apples again..not have to wonder if..

If I got all the cards out..

If I have to make something to take somewhere for some one's party..

If I have to shop, create, wrap, clean, prepare, remember..remember..remember..

It's OVER..and I'm sooooo glad... I'msooooo  ready to do to all again...in about  330 days

Better get to bed...I'm going to be pooped out.

Happy New  All Year!

You have such a pleasant attitude. I'm working on it. Good luck with that "normal" stuff.

Happy All Year to you, too. I really love your way with words and I know that a party animal can't wait 330 days before having some more fun. Who is she trying to kid?!

You're so right! It's CHRISTMAS. I get really tired of Holiday...Winter...etc used instead of the real word. Ridiculous. But I loved the photos. I'm coming up and live in your basement. You have way more fun that I do down here. :))

If I can somehow get rid of all the junk food in my house now without Hubby knowing and getting mad at me for throwing good food away....I may get back to some semblence of normalcy and at some point fit into my pants again.

It is good to have the hussle and bussle over. I won't be taking down our decorations until next week. I have people coming on Thursday to see my tree. Happy New Year!

Oh, I'm still putting Christmas away! And now I have to put the 10 pounds I gained away too! I think I must have eaten most of the cookies off your counter!

So true...we all love the Holidays but we all seem to love getting back to the regular humdrum of life. And of course...back to getting rid of those extra pounds that always seem to find (ME) at the end of the year. Happy All Year to you and thanks for every post that brings smiles, laughs, and makes me say AHHH!

I can't agree more Colleen, we've gotten so tied up in the plans, shopping, parties, gifts, all of it; we're so stressed by the end we need a week to sleep it off!
