What you don't want to hear on a Sunday morning...

...Brian was robbed at gunpoint last night..{because to me, he's still my first-born grandchild-baby}

What you are so grateful to hear...

...He's OK - went from shock to fear to "son-of-a-motherless-goat" mad...

What your heart tells you..

...He's fine..he'll be OK..he's strong....{because he's a nearly-fully-grown-wonderful-man}

What your brain tells you..

Idiots. Idiots with guns. Stupid, mean, cowardly idiots....with guns...{because you know the mentality of thugs}

Back to what your heart tells you....

Thank you God..it is only money..it's just a cell phone..he's safe...{because you know what's important}

Yep, that's what happened to my 23 year old grandson on Saturday night in Arizona.

And it's what's been on my mind ever since..

Thank you God. Thank you..

WWCND....{What Would Chuck Norris Do}

{becaue, well he's Chuck-freakin' -Norris}

-me...{because I'm his Grammie.}..........{Brian's.......not Chuck's..}

TODAY'S BLOG IS....

Oh no! That is terrifically scary stuff. Wonder if the thief is stupid enough to answer the cell when it rings? Thank God your grandson is okay or okay as one can be after such an event. (I sure hope that perp is caught.)

The world is just so troubling. I can't imagine how frightening that was. So happy for you and him that all is well. Things can be replaced, yes! AZ is really not "Kansas" or Idaho either. So much crime here. UGH!! Prayers for peace.

So sorry to hear about the robbery. So glad he's okay.

In the midst of the craziness of life, remember to carve out some "you time," a little "mother culture," and make something lovely each day to nurture your own soul, and then you will have more to offer to others and prevent burn out as well. And don't forget that The Artistic Mother's Art Group can help with that. I find that the group is helping me to balance life, motherhood and being artistic.

I'm so glad you are a part of our group, and I look forward to seeing your versions of the projects we are all doing together in The Artistic Mother by Shona Cole. Please let me know if there is ever anything that I can do for you or if you ever have any questions.

May God bless your day.
