This interwebby thing can be so great..
You can get a photo of the teensiest frog...
You can find beautiful places to visit..
You can peek into some of the most beautiful homes...
And you can find all kinds of crafts, ideas, images, how-to's, videos, tutorials..
And I have...
information overload..
..an image hangover..
..chronically overstuffed files..
..self-defeating crafting plans..
Because I want to:
sew
paint
collage
read
write
bake
decorate
journal
collect
frost
knit
crochet
print
build
garden
quilt
I want to do it all..
..and blog..
And so I am paralyzed by the options..and I end up doing ...nothing
And I am so fortunate...so lucky..
Am I the only one?
Huh...didn't think so.
Hmm...something to think about.

I'm so with you! I just finished surfing the net for some new ideas, and took a break to come here to see how my blog friends are doing! Even when I'm doing my crafts, the computer sits here just daring me to touch the keys!
I just found your blog through the Artistic Mom. Love your blog. I am bookmarking so I can come back at an earlier hour and enjoy your posts. Hilarious!
Wonderful, Colleen--loved every word--and I totally know what you're talking about! There is SOOOO much good stuff out there, and we just can't do it all, no matter how appealing it is--darn it!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, the images & all--hope you're having a lovely night!
Overload for sure! And you post everyday...I've tried but have been behind. I'd love to do all the fun things I want to do but ya, life gets in the way, huh...and we keep going (o: Another great post Colleen! Oh, ps...snows coming again.
You nailed it. Too much to do and not enough time to do it. I find blogging is addictive. Sometimes have to set myself rules about doing jobs first and then blog but my scrap booking is getting left behind. But hey who cares life is too short not to have fun and do what ya wanna.
I'm the same. Too many projects and not enough time to do it in.
I know Colleen, we all have too many crafts to do and not enough time to do it. Guess that's why I can't blog every day. I love you post tho, I always go away smiling and happy.
Have a great day!
Hugs, Pat
yup, yup & yup! lol. I usually make a list and then just pick the one I want to do the most. and then go down the list from there. good luck!
I don't think I do a very good job.
I don't use my time in the right way. I should be reading, have the TV off and let a book take me away.
Here I sit reading, searching, posting, etc. (Hey, I have that bunny up to post on Easter) Enjoy your weekend.
Oh gosh Colleen - I can so identify with this post! There are some days when I just "am". I dream and plan "doing", but doesn't happen - like today LOL
Hugs,
Sue
we all go through this...I think with the crafting thing, you have to just give yourself fifteen minutes a day to avoid overwhelm.....it is amazing what you will be able to accomplish...I sew this way sometimes...especially since I am watching two one year olds......
I know exactly what you mean! I always feel so inferior when I blog hop! I'm not doing enough, I'm not creative enough! Then again, I think everyone must think that, even the people who organize the blogs we love! So I guess we should just love what we're doing in the moment. And share those moments when we can! I'm loving your blog, it's a bit of sunshine! We should do lunch soon!
