OK, so...

..I was talking to my sister Kathy {hi Kathy!!} and was telling her about the whole shite-shirt-simplicity-thing I am doing.

By the way, it's working beautifully. No worries in the mornings..they are cheap inexpensive enough and paired with some equally cheap thrifty necklaces or scarves, no too bad..

Anyway...here's the T-shirts.  Wal-Mart.  $6..long sleeved and scoop-necked.  Not too heavy a weight..can be dressed up or down..I usually try to pick up 3 or 4 at a time..I tend to dribble.. miss my mouth....always like to have a fresh, super white one available.

Also, Kathy, here's what the Zumba sticks look like..got a pair on order for you :-)  They have shaky-shaky-noise-thingies..

Thanks everyone for the wonderful messages for Ella.  She's doing great and she may be a hummingbird of a girl, but those hummers are tough little birds!  She'll be fine..it's times like these though that I wish I lived closer..

I'll see her in April and am looking sooo forward to it!

Have a good Monday and I'll leave you with one of my favorite photos I found last week...

Darling little Ella! Wow...Jaime lee Curtis rocks!

I stumbled over here by accident and am so glad I did.

I am belly laughing over your customer service post! Wow, I bet your job is never a dull moment.

I'm catching up on my favorite blogs and just read about Ella. My heart goes out to her. It's so wonderful she has parents and grand parents who will go to bat for her, I didn't.

Hi Colleen, I just read through all of your posts right back to January 4th. Yikes! I changed the way my sidebar updates and I seem to miss out on a lot. Gotta love a Swedish guy who tries to pick you up online. Customer service certainly takes a lot of patience. So sorry to hear about sweet Ella. I just don't get how young kids can even think about bullying or why older kids do such awful things to each other and somehow think it is okay? Tougher action needs to be taken that's for sure or we will have more cases like the Arizona shooting. Just awful! Your posts are always so humorous and keep me laughing. I always leave with a smile on my face. Love your idea of the white shirts. I tell you, I'm having a hard time knowing what to wear lately. I can't seem to find my own style and stick with that. I'm all over the place but I know when I feel good and the days when I don't look so good -- so I need to start paying attention to that and buying with that in mind. I hope you have a great week! Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

Glad to hear Ella is okay. The T's look good with the different accessories. Once retired you tend to wear out all the clothes in the cupboard rather than buy new ones. So your dress up a T shirt will be handy to use when retired.

They sell them like that? I've been buying much more expensive ones and I'm a dribbler, too, so it's not working for me. I'll be looking for them on my next trip to wm. Glad that Ella is doing well. I'm not surprised that she's a lot tougher than she looks. What great pictures with JLC!

Aha, someone else has found my secret of Walmart's cheaper white t shirts!

Ella looks so sweet Colleen, and I agree, now she's famous being posed with JLC.

Way to dress up that basic T! You'd be cute in anything, my friend. Glad to hear Ella is doing OK. Those hummingbirds are tough, you bet! Hummingbird hugs. (They are really rapid and soft.)

Your dressing plan is fantastic! Totallllllly so!!!

I kind of have a version of it, with long sleeved cotton, black mock T-shirts, this winter. I always layer in winter, so it's the same black mock T's, under heavy cotton, very simple dresses.

I like your white T's and should adopt it, for summer.

I "dribble" too!!!!!! LOL. So white is more of an issue, for me. How do you bleach 'em? Share your tips on that, please.

So glad to hear good stuff about your sweet little Grand. Can't stop thinking about her and... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

And how super, having a pic of her, with the great Jamie Lee!

Gentle hugs to you and to her...
