So, I got one of these:
..on sale..$3.97..but it was too thin..then I remember I had some of these:
..and thought I'd like to try to make something I saw on Pinterest:
..so I did. because, you know I have a lot of these:
..but then I said to my little helper {who is battling allergies and scratching!}
"Braxton, what are those Arizona ladies going to keep their ears warm this Thank-mas??"
So he says...
"ear warmers!"
So I said, "like these?"
.and he said "sort of.."
So I got busy...
and made a bunch..out of a $3.00 too-short sweatshirt, some red felt, a purple jacket that was about 10 years ago..
...and with my very limited sewing skills..now have a way to keep everyone's ears warm :-)
Well, at least the girls..maybe the guys, but I think probably not.
So, what have you learned on Pinterest this week??
{those are all T-shirt strips! Really..}

Looking great! At least all that Pinterest time is being put to good use!
Oh, yes! I spend all my time on Pinterest. No. I rarely make anything I pin. You are so clever. You're still my inspiration.
very cute! and I like that you re-used items.
I've never pinned, but your headbands are sure cute.
I'd better check this out.

Those are great...I was looking around pinterest and came across one of my spoons I had painted for someone, what a delightful surprise
Oh, the awesome things you do with your time! My ears are cold....
How fun is this! I love the ear warmers. I want one!!!!
Top marks for imagination. I'm afraid I must be dumb. I couldn't make mush sense out of Pinterest when I googled it after reading your earlier post about being hooked. Then maybe I didn't stay long enough to work it out.
What a neat idea for the headbands! I stay away from Pinterest because I don't want to get hooked but I may have to give in.
Very,very clever. You have done a great job, I love the colour combinations, especially the yellow and black.
You are so creative. Those are all so cute! Is Braxon on special dog food? Our daughters dog has to have Duck & Potato.
you are such a genius!! who would have ever thought something SO cute could be made for our ears?! well, i guess you did, because these are cuter than cute!! these are genus-cute!! you go girl!! here's to warm ears.....the cute way!! xoxox
You look so cute colleen!! I haven't made anything yet, but I spend WAY too much time on Pinterest, going deeper and deeper into the abyss! My re-pins are growing, so much to try! Help!!
I don't do Pinterest. Blogging is more than enough for me. My hairdresser here made a bunch of scarves out of tshirts last year. Amazing how if you cut them just right, they will curl up perfectly like that. Love your necklaces. Hope all is well. Have a great weekend. Best wishes, Tammy
So. Awesome. Pinterest is also awesome. I waste/spend so much of my day on it.
I haven't pinned anything either, the junkie in me says "say no to Pinterest" but I agree with your commenters. Those ear warmers are great. Far more stylish than my old double wrapped t-shirt bottoms too. Very resourceful.
very cute! I'm impressed by your 'limited' sewing skill :)
brrrrr... my ears are cold!
Happy Thanksmas to you.
We need to get together soon!
XOXOXOX
