Wow..I've been a lousy blogger lately..

..just ask my sister Kathy.  She'll tell you.  She likes to read it in the wee hours of the mornings..and so far this month..I've not given her much of anything to read..

{This is not my sister Kathy..just so you know}

To be truthful, I've even been a lousy blog-reader.  I stop willy-nilly and drop a comment or 2.  Sorry.  Lots going on.

{This is not me..but look at those eyebrows? You don;t even notice the cute pouty lips..well...yeah.. now you did 'cos I mentioned it.."penny for your thoughts? hahhaha! I want that scarf..}

First up, Grandma Evelyn is doing sooo much better.  The heart issue was held at bay long enough to have the successful gall bladder removal.

{This is not Grandma Evelyn..just a happy woman playing an accordion..random, huh?}

She's home and Mr. B is her "trainer" and has her on the tread mill for 5-minute walks...and it's really helping! She's even coming up stairs and asking to go on it :-)

{this, too, is not Grandma Evelyn..but I do think that's the "Goveanator"..or ex-goveanator.."I'll be back" Ahhhhnold.. }

Pups are enjoying the no-snow morning and evening walks..but more snow is due on Wednesday...wonder if we can get them on the treadmill?

{this is not my dog..either one of them.}.
Hmmm..maybe Zumba??

Hope you all know I am thinking about you, I am grateful for all the prayers and well wishes for Grandma Evelyn {and for all the support you have given me over the years!} and know that as soon as life slows just a wee bit, I'll be back reading and writing blogs.

See? I've already started!!

I really enjoyed this post! I think I have to share that lousy blogger title with you lately. Real life just catches up with us sometimes!(I really should be doing something else right now...) But that's what's so great about us bloggers... somebody is always around when you have the time to come back into this rather amazing electronic world of friendships!
so glad Grandma Evelyn is doing better!
Blessings!

It doesn't hurt to have a break and recharge your blogging batteries now and then. There is another life that is more important. Hope you still pop in now and then. Glad to hear Evelyn is on the mend.

You have nothing to apologize for Colleen but I'd glad to hear grandma Evelyn is home and doing better. Life does get in the way of our hobby, doesn't it?

Love your "not" pictures. Glad everyone is improving and weller. (I'm sure that's a word.) I did notice you were MIA but I suspected you were consumed with life. Life has a way of doing that sometimes--consuming us. I will await anxiously for your sweet return. (My posts haven't been very compelling lately any way. You missed nothin' on my blog.

First off, Honey Bun! Haven't you ever heard of "Blogging Without Obligation"??????? We do NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT apologize for anything, concerning our blogging! [Write that 350 times, in long hand, please!] ,-)

We don't apologize! We don't feel guilty! NO, NO, NO! Blogging is for our fun! We do it, as it works out for us, day to day, and month to month and year to year.

Business happens. 'Down' moods happen. Our Blog Muse goes on vacation. Etc. None of which is any cause for our guilt or for our apologizing.

"Auntie" sezzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

Got that, Hon?!?

How are you coming on that writing assignment?????????? I'm expecting it, in the mail, ya' know.

Hugs and ♥'s...
'Cause Valentine Day is coming!

Ah Colleen...so glad that I'm not the only one out there that is feeling the 'horrible blogger' mantle pressing down on them. I'm also glad Grandma Evelyn is on the road to recovery.

And, I love Aunt Amelia's post above me about No Obligation Blogging...my gosh, what a novel idea! hee - guilt instantly gone!

Hi Colleen,
We all need a break from blogging every now and then. Best news though is that your MIL is doing better. So glad to read that.

Best wishes to you,
Jennie and the Purty Pekes

Colleen,

So sorry to hear about all the things going on in your world but happy to learn Grandma Evelyn is recovering! Love your little captions. They gave me a smile this cold NJ morning. Don't worry about writing or reading blogs. That just takes the fun out of it and makes it a job. Your readers will be here when you are ready. Me included.

Your Friend,
Deborah

What good news about your mother-in-law! She sounds as if she's serious about feeling better, too. God love you, Colleen, don't worry about providing reading material; although, your voice in Blogland is incredibly unique and delightful. Sometimes life just takes off like an out-of-control team of horses. When the dust settles, you'll be back to normal again. Looking forward to it...
