so, yeah..that whole "rib" thing..

I never thought too much about my ribs.  I mean, other than the whole "Gee, thanks Adam..now we have Eve.." and we know how that turned out, right?

Or that I used to order them in a basket at Applebee's..rib-letts..that's French for "left over pieces of real ribs"..roughly translated..

Or that Mc Donnald's had a pretty good tasting  McFake Rib sandwich.

But not so much these days.  I never was any good in biology and didn't know that the bones are all somehow strung together so that when you move your "good side"..it still pulls on the broken side..

{this is not me..just so you know..}
So Mr. B grounded me this week-en..no housework, no lifting, no hazardous duty, no Zumba..

{guess what my Monday will look like..}

So, we went to breakfast {out} and then did some Christmas shopping {out} then ordered dinner "in"..

I kinda like this whole grounded idea.  Wonder what I can break next?

Hmmm...don't have too many spare parts anymore, so I'll have to really consider this..

Gunna sign off and go read all your blogs now..have a fun Sunday and in the words of my late Mother..

"A donut without a hole is a Danish"..

Nope, I have no idea how that fits in here either..

Unfortunately for you there are tons of nerves and cartlidge and pain associated with those darn McRibs of Mrs B!
Hugs (carefully) and let Mr. B take good care of you. It sounds like he's off to a great start.

No fun when your ribs hurt...think cough, sneeze, hiccup...and so on. Hope you are feeling better soon! But don't do too much too soon.

I really wouldn't recommend breaking anything else! I've had broken arms a couple of different times. That is not fun, except when I broke my left elbow and right wrist at the same time a week before Thanksgiving. Couldn't cook, couldn't write, couldn't drive, I could only talk on the phone if someone handed it to me already in the right direction! Hmmmmm, maybe it wasn't so bad at that! lol!

Take care, heal fast, and try to stay upright! :)

Ouch! Every move is so painful. I pray you heal soon. But while you're recovering, play it up. Enjoy being pampered!!

I think if you wince effectively every now and then you can play this no housework thing for at least another couple of weeks, don't you?

Take care now, ya hear?

Awww, you really do know how to make the best of a bad situation. I'm going to have John read this today. He's always wondering why I'm in hysterics reading certain blogs. This is why.

Now keep right on having the best kind of fun possible given that you've broken your rib. Don'tcha wish that it had been a mere riblett?

Hugs, gentle ones...

So nice to hear from you and have a few laughs too! Sometimes God knows better and gives us some rest. Heal soon.

Oh Colleen, how do you do it!? Even with a broken rib you still manage to keep us laughing! Enjoy your down time though, what a caring husband Mr. B. is!

Your rib(s) are definitely nicer than McOnes or Babybacks or any other ribbers. It's only good karma that guarantees you with a guy like Mr. B to care for you so well. You are so sweet. I know you can make the "magic" last for a couple of more weeks. But, I too wouldn't suggest breaking any thing else. It's kinda 'spensive too to have broken bones. You are loved, but there can be such a thing as too much of a "good" thing...
