Yes...I know..I've been quiet....

Well not really.  Just ask Mr. B.

But I haven't written much this week.  Getting ready to go to see Ella {!) in New Jersey next week..Wednesday to be exact!  And the new little pup, Mia ..and Chloe and Marley!

Oh and yes..I'll see Brandi & Johnny too..

It has been two l-o-n-g years  since I have hugged Ella..and my heart misses her..so I am extremely excited..there is a BIG huge difference from a 5 year old to a seven year old.

Not so much between a 60 year old and a 62 year old..

I'll be there from Wednesday until the 22 of April..so we have TONZZZZ of plans..

Having lunch with Ella at school

Going to the Cherry Blossom Festival

Spending 2 nights at a Bed & Breakfast in the Amish Country..Lancaster County

Going to the Brooklyn Flea!

The Flea's Fort Greene flagship location features 150 vendors every Saturday from April through November. The 40,000-square-foot schoolyard at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is part vintage bazaar, part hipster hang, part old-fashioned town square, and part food bonanza.

......and just having such a great time with  the "ever-so-serious" Lopez family...

Can't wait.

I'm excited.

I'm anxious.

I wanna be there soon (er)

It's snowing again here :-(

seriously.  snowing.

It strikes me odd that I need to go to New Jersey to get warm.

Hmm..but I like odd.

Ohhhh, after two long years, you soooo need to go. I get that for sure. And I'm so glad that you are spending some time, too. You're going to have so much fun and Ella is going to keep you in stitches and you'll be warmer. Sorry to hear about that weather. We all need some spring to warm us up.

I can see that you've been busy planning and probably packing and such. It will be delightful. Amish country is soooo fun. I stayed in a B & B there ages ago. I loved the clop clop of the horses and buggies going by. Aah! Can I come too. You will be there before you know it. Safe travels and much fun I bid to you with hugs.

Two years is such a long time between hugs. I know how it feels to have little loved ones so far away. Have a wonderful trip. I'm heading home today after meeting my new granddaughter and I miss her already! Store up lots of hugs and kisses!

I'm so happy that you're going to get to spend time with Ella. How can you possibly go two years without seeing that cute little face in person? We went to Amish Country last spring and had a wonderful time. Where are you staying? We stayed in Intercourse!

Oh Colleen, you will have such a wonderful time spending it with Ella. I'm only a grandmother for 7 short months but my grandson has been the light at the end of my many tunnels in his short life.

Seems like you have a jam packed week planned, wish it were longer so we could 'bump into each other in the elevator' like your other blogging friend, just here in the Philly area.

Not sure where in Jersey you'll be but in order to get to Amish country, you have to trek through my neck of the woods!

Let's hope I am out of the woods with my current 'tunnel of darkness' and perhaps do the bump.

Enjoy your trip and take pix of that big smile you are sure to have on your face.
